North Arm Campground, OR - Latest Reviews, Photos & Campground Map

North Arm Campground is located in the Zigzag Ranger District, Mt. Hood National Forest (1 hr 23 min southeast of Gresham, OR) with an elevation of 3,367 feet. There are a total of 18 campsites including 4 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the end of May to mid September. 14 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 50 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Fees range from $22.00 to $26.00. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

There was an accident just before the turnoff . We waited over an hour in stand still traffic and 98 weather and nobody updated us. No cel service. A guy ran to the front and told everyone to turn around as the road was closed. I have no idea what happened and was never informed but drove home - 5 hours in boiling heat I think someone shouldve been telling the traffic what to do.

This was my first time at this lake and it instantly jumped up to my favorite campground in Oregon!! Absolutely perfect lake for paddleboarding and Kayaking. Amazing access to to the lake as well very short walk to the water from all the campsites. Some campsites are alongside the lake with direct access!

Excellent campsite (002) near the water with plenty of space for a trailer and 2 tents. Even with constant rain the entire trip, the area was lovely. Can't even imagine how wonderful it would be on a nice day!

One of the cleanest and most organized campgrounds Ive been to. Secluded from the other campgrounds in the area with only about a dozen spots. Perfect for SUP/kayaking right at the campground boat ramp and perfectly situated at the less windy end of the lake.

Nice and quiet, well maintained. Being located on the arm, it drowns out the noise from the other campgrounds. My new go to campground.

Clean, quiet, and BEAUTIFUL. We hiked and kayaked. The only negative was the mosquitos. We forgot bug spray and a citronella candle. Definitely recommend this campground.

Hidden gem! We lucked out finding this quiet peaceful campground. Camp host was professional and upheld the camp rules. We had a very pleasant stay here.

It was beautiful. Campsites were well layed out, clean, and level. Bathrooms were clean and without any bad odors. Host was very friendly and the other campers followed the quiet times. Nice trip, even the weather cooperated! I highly recommend the north arm of Timmy lake!

Clean Bathrooms, friendly and helpful hosts, quiet evenings. Suggest a few more speed bumps. Many drivers have trouble adhering to the 5 mph speed limit and going over that churns up alot of dust. Great place to kayak or paddleboard - sheltered from the main lake.
