Rock Creek campground is a quiet place with mostly young trees. We enjoyed friendly campers. I was very disappointed to find out that Rock Creek Resivoir is an irrigation reservoir, and was 70% depleted in mid July. Also, one of the campsites we reserved, had a very strong rotten odor. On the plus side, the campground was very clean, as well as the vault toilets.

Nice clean campground. The site next to us definitely had more people than the listed limit, but there's a good amount of space between sites so we still felt comfortable.

A little bummed this time around, was notified by the host that theres was 2 guys coming in to the camp ground and going through peoples belongings and cars that we needed to keep an eye out. We had to load up our stuff to just go to the water kind of a hassle.

Loose dogs and confrontation with that camper wasnt pleasant. Host wasnt available on most days to complain. I arrived on a Monday and didnt see her till Friday . She had notes at her site that she was gone. Leash law should be strictly enforced

We had a very relaxing weekend. The only thing that could have make it better would be RV hook ups. On site power would eliminate the noise from generators running.

Nice separation of campsites

Had our cooler stolen in the middle of the night. Neighbors had fishing rods stolen. Loud, rowdy neighbors up all night and no one available to help. No sheriff drive thru like they usually do. Not family friendly like it used to be.

The water level drops in late summer and may be too low for paddling. Best to go in late spring/early summer. In the middle of night, a fishing rod was stolen from our site, and a cooler from another site close by. Best to take precautions and put valuables away. Bathrooms were very clean and taken care of. Camp host was very friendly.

Very spacious sites. Nice scenery all around.kept very clean and tidy.The only thing that would make it GREAT would be a dump station.

Well.... it's a campground. You can pitch a tent there. The lake was dry, neighbors were using the campground roads to joyride, host was nowhere to be found, camp is next to a shooting range which kept the dog hiding under the picnic table for two days, and the first night someone drove through the camp in the middle of the night and stole everyone's stuff. No nearby hiking trails. Not planning to go back. Still, always nice to get out in the wilderness for a skosh, and the forest is pretty so it still gets two stars.

This was for sure an unforgettable get away. Campsite was nice, clean and very spacious. We stayed at campsite #20 and we couldve set at least 3 tents if needed. My recommendation is that if you are think of getting in the lake to go early in summer as it was almost empty. We had to drive about 15 minutes to Pine Hollow resort for the day for a good swim. Also weather got crazy that weekend and had to leave as emergency weather warnings kept coming in due to strong winds and hail. Wind was so crazy that our canopy and tent ended up getting blown away. Things got worse when branches kept falling as the trees cracking sounds got more intense. Bad weather and all, I will still recommend this campground.

Its a very spacious campsite that could easily fit three large tents while still having enough room to wonder. There's a path that leads up to the bathroom from the site. The path also leads towards the lake. There's a small town fifteen minutes down the road which has a general store that have everything f you need and then some.

Campsites were neat and maintained. Vault toilets were clean, however the seat in the women's toilet was broken.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
