Campground was very clean, bathrooms were excellent, Jill the camp host was awesome

Its a very spacious campsite that could easily fit three large tents while still having enough room to wonder. There's a path that leads up to the bathroom from the site. The path also leads towards the lake. There's a small town fifteen minutes down the road which has a general store that have everything f you need and then some.

The hosts were very nice and the campground well kept. Sadly there was a large nest of hornets in our campsite that the hosts were unable to have removed, and one in our party got stung on the face. There was also a large nest of yellow jackets in the ground at the site next to us that kept attacking our food. The less desirable aspects of nature.

Clean restrooms, good fishing and other water activities, easy access to back in sites which are pretty darn level for a CG, several potable water spigots and grey water dumps, some hiking, located near Wamic, Oregon. Rock Creek CG is a open style CG with the Rock Creek Reservoir as its center piece, different pines and oaks give some sites shade but no privacy. Many different types of birds, deer, different types of squirrels, lizards and snakes will be just some of the abundant wildlife that also call the CG home. Anything over 25' will need to check the sites carefully, no electricity, no holding tank dump, weekends are maxed out weekdays are calm. I had a fun and relaxing visit with hopes of returning for another stay.
