The site is very big but close to the road and the cars can be loud at night. There are a few rivers in the campground which you can hear from the site which I loved, it was natures white noise. We were super close the mt rainier sunrise.

The campground was pleasant. However, our area had no water at all. The faucets were all out with a sign to go to another area, so we drove to get water.

#11 is the best site in the CG, hands down. Absolutely huge site, smack on the river which drowns out any and all camp or road noise, private, dog friendly, ravens and hawks as your neighbors, big trees, with plenty of space for a huge tent or two and your hammocks, well-placed stumps for camp life. (If you are traveling in a group, maybe snag #11 + #13 or #9 which is a double site - if you can. They are all very popular.) My guess is that this site may be pretty wet in the spring since it's pretty on par with the river level.I love the wide and beautiful walking trails all throughout this CG, and to walk 10 feet from your site, or 25 feet to the nearest little path bridge and see salmon running and spawning is pure magic. Four toilet facilities thoughout and all were in service: 2 pits, 2 flush. Unfortunately, the water was out in most of the southern loop that didn't affect us, but is pretty inconvenient for the nearby sites for the price per night here! It's about 25 minutes to Sunrise, and 20 to Chinook Pass. Will absolutely stay here again.

The most beautiful campground in US

This Campground was by far the most respectful and quiet I've ever stayed at! Most sites were full but you would never know. The sites are nice sized, spread apart, and feel private. The autos along the creek are the best. Bathrooms were a hike but there's potable water every couple of sites which made all the difference. Loved our stay here!

Great campground. There is a large fast-moving river nearby and that is pretty much the only sound you'll hear. Don't expect to swim in the river because the current is too fast, or at least it was in mid-August. Vault toilets are clean and well-maintained. The water spouts are only for filling up jugs of water, not washing anything. This was a bit hard, but doable since it was just me and my friend camping together.

Nice, quiet campground next to a creek and close to the Sunrise entrance of Mount Rainier. Everything was clean and well-maintained.

Loved this site! Night sky stars were amazing. Great little stream close by and the white river + bathrooms within walking /way close. Hope to reserve again!

We have camped at Silver Springs several times. The location is great for Sunrise entrance into Mount Rainier National Park. We have a 34 foot 5th wheel and appreciate that there are several sites within the campground that can accommodate us. There are hiking trails as well as the White River than runs through the area. Beautiful place to camp!

Very nice well maintained campground. Fun walks along the river. The Highway Traffic noise dies down at night

Great proximity to Rainier and Crystal and great to have the river nearby. Many of the sites feel very private.

The rain kept the crowds away. Sol Duc hot springs were great. Hoh rainforest so pretty. Ruby Beach was fantastic. Overall great experience.

Amazing campground, close to the main road, and bathrooms had full working water, toilets, and were well lit.

Nothing to say.

An annual visit to Silver Springs was graced with great weather and the paved pad was a perfect fit for our new trailer, with the trailer's slide-out clearing the trees lining the parking pad with just an inch or two. Silver Spring remains a favorite after more than 22 years visiting.

The campground sites were well-maintained. Our site was beautiful, private, and quiet. The trails along the river were lovely. There was a burn ban in place during our visit, which not all the campers adhered to. Unfortunately, I think recent budget cuts prevented rangers from popping in occasionally. The same cuts seem to have affected the maintenance of the bathrooms, which had no soap. We found this to be the case in all four National Forest and Park campgrounds in which we stayed during July of this year.We were not able to secure day passes to the Sunrise section; thankfully, the Sunrise gate was only about 15 minutes from the campground! That made it easier to get into the MRNP prior to 7:00am. Overall, we LOVED this campground and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We had the best campground hosts this year. Enjoyed our time we spent on our site

This is a beautiful campground, and for the most part very quiet. We have a 36-ft fifth wheel (Solitude) and did have quite a bit of issue parking in the site due to some thick and low branches. We were able to get help from the camp host to trim the branches back so we could park and get our driver and passenger side slides out. We truly barely fit and then had to park our F350 perpendicular to the rig. I would not pick this site again (due to our size) despite it saying it could accommodate rigs up to 40ft. There are other more open sites but its hard to know that when booking. The interior roads are also VERY tight with narrow roads and large trees very close to the roads. We held our breathes while navigating to the site. Site 21 has a nice picnic area and back up to the spring. We did have kids walking through our site and lots of screaming and yelling during Fri/Saturday but everything did quiet down around 9p. We enjoyed it much more during the weekmuch less packed and quieter. The park is a good location for exploring the Sunrise area of Mt Rainier.

The site alone has so much to see between the river and the trails. It's also so close to so many more great hikes and attractions

We spent 4 nights at Silver Springs Campground in mid July. It is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have ever stayed at. The enormous trees, flowing streams and large campsites surrounded us with the beauty of the national forest. It is located within a mile of the entrance to Mt. Ranier National Park, closest to the Sunrise and Three Rivers areas. The campground was exceptionally clean, well kept and peaceful. The driveways and tent pads were wide and level, making set up convenient. Bathrooms were super clean! This place is a must for campers visiting the Mt. Ranier area.

Nice shady campground. No cell service. Easy access to the Scenic Drive a couple miles down the road at Rainier.

Loved the fallen trees in the campground that could be used as a shortcut across the spring.

This is a very nice campground. We had some road noise, but that died down at night. Good access to the White River, nice flush toilets, but it would be nice to have showers OR a dump station. Great for tent camping and small to medium RVs/trailers.
@EdwardL5038090 · Camped on Jul 10, 2025 at Campsite #34
The campground, as usual, was great. The host as well. Unfortunately people visit who are so insecure they have to play music so everyone else can hear it. The host took care of that quickly.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado
