We enjoy our stays at this COE. Its clean and friendly. The beach and fishing opportunities are great. We dont boat but for those that do, the ramp is convenient. We stay here a couple of times a year.

It was beautiful and clean the only problem was miscommunication about the price of extra tents. The website said $5, the office charged that one time which was no problem, didn't charge us the next time which was very nice, but the conservation agent said it was the price of another lot. He was kind to us about it and dint charge us and we offered to pay and he refused, again was kind about it all. But I think he was incorrect per the website. Either way everyone was great the place is amazing we will continue to camp there regardless of the price of an extra tent. Likely just get an extra lot lol.

Lots of my family have been camping at Nemo Landing for 16+ years. Never have i seen the campground so unkept. Grass areas have been allowed to grow more than 3'high. During Labor Day, family occupied 4 campsites bordering the water. Grass was 4-5' high between the campsites & water with only a footpath worn down to get to the waters edge. The campground looked overgrown & unkept! Firepits had trash & cans left in them. The office was never open to check in & never saw the campground hosts. Twice during the Summer, we rented the Group loop for 3-4 nights. In previous years, our trash can was emptied once per day. Never emptied at all this year. (The campground host site had 2-3 tents set up along with a camper & 2 dogs tied up. Looked like 2-3 families were there all summer). If funds are not available to properly ,maintain this area and make it a proud campground, then raise the fees. This year was a big disappointment on campground appearance & maintenance.

We like camping closer to the lake. Some people swim while some prep camping things! The playground is a great way for the children to play in the evenings. We also like to bike on the campground because of paved pathways!

We have been camping here at Nemo every summer for the past 8 years. The Camp Hosts and Janitorial Hosts have been the absolute best in all the time we have been coming to Nemo. It was so great to see them actually driving through the park multiple times a day, the restrooms and showers were the cleanest we have ever seen them! Even the air flow grates in the ceilings were clean for the first time ever! What an incredible stay!Only caveat was the overgrowth along the lakeshore. I believe this lies on the responsibilities of the Corp of Engineers as opposed to the camp hosts. To get to the shoreline, you have to trek through waist-high vegetation that is nerve-racking knowing that it is perfect habitation for mosquitos and ticks, as we make our way through in swimsuits. Last year, we didn't experience this, but it has been an issue in years past. However, this year was probably the worst, as there was no way of avoiding having to walk through the tall vegetation.

We have camped at Nemo Landing for decades. Never have we ever seen the grass along the shoreline so tall. NO ONE wants to wade tall grass and weeds that is well over 2 feet tall to get to the boat and water. I'm short so it was to the tip of my thigh. Hello, snakes! We couldn't have possibly seen one to prevent a strike. WHY is it not being mowed as in years past?? The bathrooms south/southeast of the playground was ATROCIOUS!! Normally the only showers we use. Not this year. They were filthy most of the time, even after the janitorial service was by. ROCKS, multiple rocks piled at the shower drains, the toilets leak water from the base so you're wading sewer water, some outer doors do not even lock! It would be nice if the missing towel hooks could be replaced. We did appreciate the soap provided for handwashing in the actual bathrooms. That was a nice find this year. Hopefully things improve at Nemo Landing before our next visit.

The camp attendance were very helpful. The park was very clean, including the restrooms

The map in the app is wrong on location of the site I reserved, the site was not the size it claimed in the app, once I got my camper backed in my stair were inches for the concrete picnick table, if one of my kids had slipped on the stairs they would have gotten hurt. The camp ground was clean and decently maintained but site 96 is maybe big enough for a tear drop camper not a 28 footer like the app claims and its not right around the corner from the bathroom and accrossed the street from the playground. It is tucked in the back of a loop and smashed between 2 other sites with a common use water hydrant right behind it.

The only problem was that someone got our spot the day before thinking they could keep it more then one day. They don't put the tags out till the day of your arrival so anyone getting in it the day before think it's open for the additional days. The people that had to move that evening was upset.

I've been camping there since I was a little girl and always enjoyed it. We've had family get togethers back when camping was free. I know times has changed and the upkeep is costly. So I understand. If someone wants a great place for a peaceful relaxing getaway Pomme De Terre is the place to be.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
