Damsite Campground in Hickory County is located 1 hr 12 min north of Springfield, MO with an elevation of 921 feet. There are a total of 95 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 25 and 45 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 80 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $14.00 to $22.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground.

Great peaceful place to camp site was level didn't even have to raise anything other than the tongue, the only reason it wasn't 5 star is because there were a few spots better than the one we stayed in and the lot we were in was pretty difficult to get into because the neighbors were hooked up to their camper with their truck blocking the driveway

We were in site #43 and, although there is not trees for shade, we were in the shade under our awning all day. We always enjoy our stay at this campground. The Park Attendant, Gary and his wife are so amazing. Always kind and helpful. Restrooms are always clean and well stocked. We love it and spend a lot of our summer there!

Damsite is the best campground by far. The park attendants are great about keeping the park clean and all the facilities spotless.

I've been visiting this lake for over 50 years. I love that it is not over populated and commercialized. I go camping to enjoy the peace and quiet and that's what I get at damsite. You can't beat the view as you pull into damsite campgrounds or the view of the sun setting over the dam.

We love this camping experience and come here several times a year. We go during the week and its quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. Check out the crappie hole for dinner. Great fish!
