We enjoyed our say mid week, it was nice and quiet. Loved the lake view. Shower heads could be updated, but did have hot water.!

Excellent camp host. Friendly. Knowledgeable. In the area. Be a shame to lose him. But I guess there's changes next year

We loved this small, quiet campground on Lake Pomme de Terre. We will definitely camp here again.

Great little park, but no improvements have been made and its starting to show

Nice campground, well kept up and maintained. A few of the campsites are a trick to get into and a tight turn at the end circle in the road to come out. A overview of the road itself with the camp sites angle and entries would greatly help in selections of sites.

Bruce was a great Host, he kept the Camp areas very clean, along with the bathrooms and shower house. It's going to be a shame next year when you go to a volunteer for this roll, because they won't have the care for the campground like he has. Our camp was pleasant for 2wks we where there, and would recommend it.

Very quiet and clean area. Easily accessible boat ramp and small cove for swimming and fishing.

Lots of great campsites. Restrooms in the campground are ok. Need an upgrade. Shower house was a bit better but a long walk from campground. Boat ramp being close was a big positive.

This campground is small and quiet, which makes it particularly relaxing. Site 12 is a huge, lakefront space that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Great place and quite.
@HaroldB5534382 · Camped on Jun 29, 2025 at Campsite #8
The spaces are roomy and not on top of each other like some other parks. The park is very clean. There are several sites that have access to the lake. The only thing that we have wished for is that the bank along the lake where sites 16, 26 thru 31 can be kept cleaner so more people can access the lake.

Beautiful park, lots of shade.

Very well kept, quiet campground. The host, Bruce, made sure we had everything we needed and kept an eye out for all the campers. We will be back next June!

We really enjoyed the campground. It was quiet, clean and has great access to the water. The shower house was clean, the bathrooms were well maintained as well. It was busy on the main road during the weekend with all the boats going in and coming out, but the camping loop traffic was at a minimum. We will be back!

We are regulars at Lightfoot, like 10+ trips per year for over 5 years this is a quaint and friendly park. My only issue with the facility is its awful, outdated playground.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
