Lightfoot Landing Campground in Polk County is located 1 hr 4 min north of Springfield, MO with an elevation of 892 feet. There are a total of 38 campsites including 1 tent-only site. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of September. 37 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 45 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 29 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $14.00 to $30.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, flush toilets.

Very quiet and clean area. Easily accessible boat ramp and small cove for swimming and fishing.

Lots of great campsites. Restrooms in the campground are ok. Need an upgrade. Shower house was a bit better but a long walk from campground. Boat ramp being close was a big positive.

This campground is small and quiet, which makes it particularly relaxing. Site 12 is a huge, lakefront space that we thoroughly enjoyed.

The spaces are roomy and not on top of each other like some other parks. The park is very clean. There are several sites that have access to the lake. The only thing that we have wished for is that the bank along the lake where sites 16, 26 thru 31 can be kept cleaner so more people can access the lake.

Very well kept, quiet campground. The host, Bruce, made sure we had everything we needed and kept an eye out for all the campers. We will be back next June!

We really enjoyed the campground. It was quiet, clean and has great access to the water. The shower house was clean, the bathrooms were well maintained as well. It was busy on the main road during the weekend with all the boats going in and coming out, but the camping loop traffic was at a minimum. We will be back!

We are regulars at Lightfoot, like 10+ trips per year for over 5 years this is a quaint and friendly park. My only issue with the facility is its awful, outdated playground.

The Girls bathroom/shower house. The door did not shut all the way. Plus it was dark just one light in front of the building I did not feel save. it needs to be more light out there.

We love Lightfoot Park it is a smaller park, with many of the same families each weekend, which makes it more fun.

The campground was very clean and quite, the site was large and well maintained. I had a very nice visit with friends.

The campsites, restrooms and shower were clean. John, the camp host, whom we got to know over the past years is excellent. The area is quiet, the sites are level and easy to back onto with plenty of shade.

The bathrooms were not working first few days of week. Really inconvenient and its about time they get updated. This has happend more than once when we have camped here. Othewise we love light foot landing our families have been coming for close to 50 years

Bathrooms and showers are very dirty trash all over the ground attendant was very rude people not pull off there sites when it was time to move.

The 30 amp plug didnt work but we were able to borrow a 50 to 30 amp converter from the host booth to get through the weekend.
