Our site had great lake access, the campground was well kept and the hosts were friendly

They really need someone at the Guard Shack that can give you your parking passes

Need to put up signs to remind people to keep pets on a leash. Last 2 years our dog has gotten attacked by dogs not on a leash. We love Ruark bluff west. Been going to Stockton for 30+ years.

The campsite was very clean and well maintained. The best place to eat around is down in mutton creek marina. Only thing I wish was that there was a water hook up at the actual site.

Camped here at and around sites 21, 23, 25 for years. This year the worst. Shower house had two broken door handles so only two were safe to use creating longer wait times. Bathroom and shower houses have been much cleaner in years past.

The bathroom/shower houses are terrible. They have not been updated in years. the floors, walls and shower controls are in terrible condition. They are in medium clean condition. nothing has been done to them in years. Makes me wonder where all the money that they collect from the sites goes.

I was sad to see the tree stumps where three very large shade trees used to provide shade in our area. The grounds were clean and mowed and the restrooms were kept stocked. The atmosphere was very calm and laid back. Plan on bringing your own shade if you are tent camping. and if you planned on using a hammock you might not find the spot to. The fire pits are in great shape so plan on using one. And there is a grocery store right down the road in case you need to grab something.

We have always enjoyed our stay. The camp site is ready and clean. The park attendants are helpful and pleasant. We like that the area is patrolled on a regular basis by either conservation or sheriff. Stockton Lake is beautiful.

Dated. In need of TLC.

This is an awesome place to camp. But the last 2 years my dog has been attacked because not all of the campers keep their dog on a leash. So now we walk with a walking stick to protect our dog. Weve been going here and east side for 35 years. But west is best.

Ruark west is one of our favorite campgrounds. Site 35 catches the afternoon sun. The way the site is angled makes it so you have yo drive past it and go up around the loop and come back to it.

We love going to Ruark bluff west. weve been going there for about 20 years now. The only thing I have a problem with is the dogs that arent on a leash. Last year 2 dogs attacked our dog which is on a leash and on this trip a dog tried to attack our dog So I think they need to post the leash policy all over the park.

Our campsite was great. But trying to modify our reservation was a disaster!

Camping grounds were nice but grass needed to be mowed.Bathrooms/Showers were nice and big.I wish they had water hookups at each campsite. It would be nice if they had a boat ramp at the Camping area.

Stayed on west side site 35. It had rained recently, and our site was a mudd hole. No camp host available so we couldn't switch spots.

#63 is a clean and nearly level basic campsite, lakeside, lots of different birds and some large fish playing in the shallows. Rocky shore with some brush (and ticks even on the gravel) so come with water shoes and bug spray! The big RVs were just across the little cove but they were quiet at night. Really not much shade in this spot mid April; if I had been staying on site throughout I'd have set up a tarp but I was visiting family in Greenfield so not much point. There was absolutely *no* cell coverage (Mint Mobile) inside the campground. Camping pass gives complimentary access to the beach area which was also clean.

The gal at the kiosk was absolutely wonderful! Handled everything and more before we needed things handled. Great job. Beautiful site. Nice shower rooms. Wish there was water at each site. We saw otters in the lake and the fish were jumping. If only it were closer to anywhere.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
