We love ruark east and west. Hoping that the west side and the rest of the east side get updated to 50 amp service.

Spots are nice and not crammed together. Beautiful views of the lake! The other campers are respectful and quiet. We loved our stay. They do need to fix a door in the womens shower so that it shuts. Its been that way for over a year.

Great view of lake and access to bath rooms and showers. Plenty of space between sites. Saw an Eagle catching a fish right where we were camping. Lovely time!

I absolutely love this camp site. Its always so clean and has easy access to shower house, bathroom and water for swimming purposes. I almost always never get a single tick on me either and we usually sit in the shade under the trees. Very safe and comfortable

Our camp site was easy to access. The views so beautiful and peaceful. It was very easy to walk down to the lake for swimming and fishing. Raccoons and squirrels paid us visits. There was also a lone goose swimming about. He did come and rest on our shoreline for a few moments. Our area had nice shade and the breeze kept us from getting too hot. There was a boat ramp not too far from our camp. We could easily have anchored our pontoon at our camp site.We definitely will be returning.

We have been camping here for more than 30 years, and is about the only place we go to. The shower house could definitely use some upgrades, but overall we do enjoy camping here.

Excellent campground and the park attendant is very good along with the volunteers. The restrooms are the cleanest that they have ever been. The new volunteers this year keep everything very clean.

People there were remarkable helpful. I received the kind of service attitude that is rare these days. Very impressed with everyone but particularly the young lady who checked us in, she went above and beyond to make our stay possible. My friends spoke highly of the people there and rightfully so.

Twenty men from my Sunday School class recently held our 15th annual men's camping a fishing excursion at Stockton Lake's, Ruark Bluff East campgrounds. We had a ball staying at the Mutton Creek Group Camp. The individual camp sites there were perfect for either tent, trailer, or RV. The pavilion was awesome for fish fries, cook outs and other group activities. Flush toilets in the immediate camp ground was a pleasant surprise as the description of the amenities on Recreation.gov sounded like we would have to go all the way the shower house to go to the bathroom. The condition of the campground was amazing for being so early in the season. The gravel beach was awesome and very handy for the guys that wanted to fish off of the bank. There were also several boat ramps near by for those of us with boats. Overall I would give this camping facility a score of 10 out of 10 for location, condition of the grounds, ease of access, scenery and proximity to the water, and the available amenities on site. Great job to everybody that was involved in getting the facilities ready for us. We had a ball.

HATE recreation.gov. Would have chosen a different site if given the opportunity to see in person. Pictures on site lie.

Great area and quiet. Only problem was just before sunset, the Millions of mosquitos that started coming out was insane. I have never seen so many at once. It looked like a fog bank shimmering as you look up through the park they were so bad. I ended up leaving that night because of it. I had citronella burners and sprayed the tent with mosquito repellant but did not work. Park systems really need to think about spraying to mitigate the hoards of mosquitos due to potential health hazard. I will go back but it will be in the fall when its colder and less chance of mosquito invasion.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
