Clean bathrooms with tp. Beautiful park, Loop D is somewhat close to the highway so you can hear cars driving. We found ticks on us so make sure you check before you leave. Bbq pit is convenient.

Close to the metro. You can go to DC and see everything then come back to the parking and its a ten minute drive to camp. So very Clean restrooms and bathhouse. Spotty cell service. Be patient to let things load. Very nice Rangers. Dont pick 108. The parking area is kind of right beside the road so the road and your parking area mix.

Love the spot i chose as it seemed yo have a bit more privacy than other spots. The only drawback of the grounds is hearing street traffic and seemingly neighborhood dogs barking.

Our site was a good distance from bathroom, nice size with plenty of room for our tent. The camp fire ring is high which was harder for keeping warm but good for cooking. We could hear noises from cars in the road but we also heard an owl!

The campground is expansive and well maintained. I camp and sleep out of my car so their policy is only one night if you are traveling in this fashion.

It's a great location for camping while visiting DC area, it is quiet. We were hoping with the long shutdown of this park for road improvements there might be improvements to the camping area.

This is a lovely park tucked right next to the nations capital! The bathrooms were small but not overcrowded, we were camping in peak season. The primitive campsites vary wildly, some with privacy, and some without any but this is a great campsite to go with friends and use a few spots. There are no hooks or any additional camp "furniture" except the picnic table. The camp fire pits were plopped on top of a square of concrete, rather than buried below ground, so the top grill area is pretty much impossible to use. It's a full 3-4 feet off of the concrete slab so the grill is never close enough to the fire to actually use, it was very frustrating! Luckily, one of our group had a small grill we put inside the camp grill, so we could cook our food. Other than the ridiculous campfire/grill placement, the camp was comfortable and well taken care of.

The campsites are very close together so there isnt a lot of privacy. The RV permitted campsites are mixed in so it can get very noisy during the day.

nice primative campgrounds, no hookups, bathrooms were nice, showers were hot. It is in a spot that is relativly close in to all of the tourist sites. we just spent 10 days there and had no problems, and felt safe and had a great time!

At first I was like who is playing all of this bass and music?!? It dawned on me later it was coming from the High School Football game right across the street. Something to check if its a Friday night in Fall. Also loud motorcycles racing on the highways at 4am, so not a good night sleep. I was in c101 and the car at the site was about 8 feet from my table. Shower was serviceable.

It was just a short stay and very convenient .The loop and facilities are a bit sad looking but we will definitely be back.

Nice, quiet place near DC and Baltimore. The C loop is well-manicured and the site had plenty of room. While I didn't use the fire pit, it was large and had a nice sturdy grate on it. I'll definitely stay here any time I am in the area. Besides bathrooms and a shower, there are no amenities. I prefer this because I like to unplug, but if you are staying in the C loop just know there isn't much there. The way camping should be ;)

We accidentally pulled into the wrong camping spot across the road from the spot wed reserved. There were very few campsites occupied and it was nearly dark. The campground host would not allow us to stay overnight in the sIte where we were parked and set up even though there was no reservation for that site for the day we were there. It was an annoyance to have to pack up and move across the road to the site wed reserved.

We used our stay here to visit Washington DC on a budget. Overall the campground was very good. We stayed in C loop and the bathrooms (at least the toilets and sinks) were cleaned every day. That is one of the most important things to me. The site was okay. It was rough in some spots and there were roots/tree stumps around but it served its purpose. We did not see anyone that works there at all. I do wish that they would give some information about locations to buy firewood in the area. That was very challenging to find. Other campers were quiet and courteous for the most part. There was one tent where the couple fought one evening. We also had something minor taken from our campsite while we were out one day, but of course that could happen anywhere. Overall a great option if you are visiting the city and one that we will do again.

Location is conveniently close to Washington, DC. My campsite was fine. There seemed to be only one womens shower in Loop B and it was pretty gross. I only stayed one night; not sure Id want to stay longer.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
