As a solo black woman camping i had a wonderful time here. I felt safe, had beautiful views. Nice neighbor the first night... The 2nd night it was a group and they were kinda loud until about 11pm... But all in all i had a great, peaceful experience.

There was a campfire circle which was fun. Recommend the Greenbelt Cinema about 5 minutes away for a fun movie break: https://www.greenbeltcinema.org/home/

I've been coming to Greenbelt with our 4-H group for about 5 years now! The campground is in a great, convenient location, and usually not too crowded. My biggest complaint is that the bathroom facilities are often in poor shape- not very well cleaned and in need of repair. Other than that this spot is a hidden gem.

Great stay with our 9 & 7 yr old granddaughters. They had fun riding their bikes around our campsite loop D and they enjoyed our Ranger-led nature hike on the Dogwood Trail with Ranger Edwin and Ranger Turk. Both girls really loved the whole NP Junior Ranger Program process, from learning about the program, getting their booklets, completing all the activities and Program requirements, including their final hike on the Azalea trail with its Fitness Trail station challenges. The high point of our stay was their Junior Ranger pledge and swearing in ceremony and receiving their badges from the head Ranger in the Ranger Station. The experience was incredible!

The location between DC and Baltimore was perfect for our planned trip. The cost of $20/day, was lower than most state park fees. The only issue we had was the cleanliness of the bathroom and showers. We were there 4 nights and the bathrooms were not cleaned in that time

It is a basic place to stay to boon-dock or tent camp. This is our second time here and we will be staying again on our return trip. Bathrooms ok clean.

We stayed mid week in April during a non-school vacation week so the park was almost empty. We stayed in a campervan in C loop and there was just a faint road noise off in the distance. Other than that it was very peaceful. The bathroom was probably standard condition for a campground... Have been in better (Maryland Stateparks) and worse (many other places). It was a fairly convenient to and from DC relative to other options for campervans and the cost at just around $20 was good value. Would definitely stay here again if in DC with a campervan again.

Super convenient to DC, clean but basic campground, great neighborhood, flush toilets and electricity in the bathrooms. The rangers on site and the hosts were all very helpful and kind. Would stay again.

Beautiful and convenient campground. We stay here a few times each year and en route to going south and then back north from Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The one downside of Greenbelt National Park is the condition of the bathrooms, which is downright deplorable. In my travels I have used gas station bathrooms that are far cleaner, and without the mildew and mold.

Good campground . And good value for money . Was all we needed for our week stay in Washington and is close to the Greenbelt park and ride . Only concern is we noticed some sites would be difficult to park RV's on as either small or sloped which is difficult to check out when booking online . Ours was fine but Rangers are very helpful if you need to swap sites .

A nice park in the middle of suburbia. Very quiet during the week in April. The only thing tGreenbelt really needs is updated restrooms. They are functional, but very dated, now well over 50 years old.

for the price and location and proximity to park area and walking trails it was well worth it. i'm not sure how it was on the weekend when it fills in but during the week it seemed to be plenty of space to spread out. the facilities are a bit rustic but i think the price is really reasonable. and it's not far at all from grocery stores and such. and if you have children I'm pretty sure the A loop is for people with kids or kids groups. clearly the people care about the campground because it was clean and organized.

Great location if looking to find a metro spot into DC vs driving. Greenbelt only 10 minutes drive with plenty of parking. Bathroom windows don't open leaving floors damp and wet, but clean. I didn't take a shower so I can't speak to that. Quiet, Clean. Friendly. One other note: not all spots are level in loop B.

Great campsite right outside of DC. We attended the night time campfire presentation and it was very insightful regarding DC access and things to do. Highly suggest!

This camp ground is a jewel!!! Only 25 minutes away from the Jefferson Memorial on the Tidal Basin, it can easily be navigated via the Baltimore-Washington Parkway! The CG was clean and inviting, the park employees and rangers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Bathrooms - Clean as they are serviced daily. No hookups, but who needs hookups when you are out in the wild? Love this place!! I'll be back!

Greenbelt National Park is very convenient to Washington, DC. It is about five miles from Greenbelt Metro Station where even an RV can park all day for $4.95 Monday through Friday in its huge parking lot. Parking is free Saturday and Sunday. It is an easy metro ride into DC. We stayed at the campground 14 nights and took public transportations into DC 11 days. We drove to the National Arboretum and Mt. Vernon two days where parking was free. We stayed at Greenbelt NP during the Cherry Blossom Festival in April and there were only a few sites occupied. The campground is very convenient to DC, but it could use some improvements, especially to the roadways and paved parking pads at the campsites. One should be aware there are very few showers and we were glad the campground wasnt full. Staffing seemed quite limited, but probably because it was early spring We would definitely return to Greenbelt NP if we returned to DC.

The sites were well managed and easy to navigate. We car camped with a Tesla Y and there was a Supercharger station almost directly across from the entrance - really convenient. Theres also a Metro park & ride close by. The only con was the single shower stall in the womens bathroom near our location in Loop B. Other than that, its a great spot near to DC.

Sites were good sized. Bathrooms clean. Easy access to get around the area. Beautiful oasis in the middle of the city!

We were told that your vehicle and your camper need to both be able to fit into your sight. We were able to drive around and find a larger site to accommodate us, but not sure that would be the case during busy summer hours. This is about a mile from a metro location that has a large parking lot. We found the metro to be very convenient to get into downtown DC. The camp host did come around and check in with us and answer. Any questions we had about the campground. The bathrooms are terrible.

Campground was pretty. For us there was a water main break in the loop we were supposed to stay in, they reached out and moved us to another aite before we showed up and kept communication open. Amazing customer service!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
