We only stayed one night, which was a Saturday and we felt fortunate to get a spot on short notice on a weekend. It seemed like a great place to camp on a lake, many people had boats or kayaks and were enjoying fishing or boating. Our spot was a bit sloped uphill (backin) but the pad itself was level for a short trailer, ours was 20 feet. The sites were fairly well spaced with mature trees. There was a shed with firewood and vegetables for sale, self serve/pay, which was pretty nice. It was pretty far off the main highway, about 30 minutes from 65.

We were at Site A012, a pull through facing the water but not directly on the water. Beautiful site. Tmobile was fair. Partial shade.

Had issues with our electric service. Kept popping a breaker at the box. We told the volunteer at the campground and she said she would contact someone but we never saw anyone come out and we had the issue all week

The campground was very clean and set up very well. We were able to find the site very easily and we loved the little "shack" filled with produce and firewood.

We love Dog Creek as it is usually quiet and the bathrooms are clean, and the sites are mostly level. My only issue was that the grass needed to be cut...but that seems to be the case for the C.O.E. campgrounds the last couple of years. I definitely recommend Dog Creek.

I love this campground but it would be really nice if the grass was kept mowed better.

For tent camping, I'm not a big fan of sleeping on crush gravel and it is hard to drive stakes through the gravel. I would recommend spreading trash cans throughout the campground.

We stayed in C012 10/09/24 - 1013/24. This is a real pretty place to camp. The restrooms are serviced to a real clean standard. One big thing I noticed, campers were leaving trash everywhere, in the restrooms, on the campgrounds. Why can't campers be proactive and pickup their trash and do a real good trash check before leaving their site to return home? It really doesn't take 5 minutes to walk-thru and pick up trash, especially if there was a windy day or two within their stay. If trash blows at your home, you would pick it up. Please help keep our campsites clean and stop throwing trash in the restrooms and showers as well. I thought it was disgusting how people treated this campground. I walked around with a plastic bag and picked up several pieces of trash during our stay. Just goes to show you that people can be nasty campers! Now off my soap box. This campground is just beautiful. The staff are nice, polite and welcoming! The equipment around each site looked nice and very usable. Campsites were marked with reservations. I'd give the staff 2 thumbs up for what they do each day. Thank you for manning and managing the environment around this site. The boat ramp was little hairy too. People didn't read the sign that stated, "Backdown the ramp" instead they just pulled down and blocked other boats from entering the water. This was, at times, a very busy ramp. Please remember boat etiquette, to use the parking lot to stage your boat to enter the water and to recover your boat after pulling off the water. Don't recover or prep your to enter and leave the water while your is on the ramp. This impedes others from using the ramp in a timely manner. Thanks again to the staff and attendants servicing Dog Creek. Oh, the store was a nice addition, where firewood, jams, jellies and vegetables could be purchased. Remember to bring cash as it's on the honor system too.

Everything was good. I am only sorry they are now closed for the rest of the year.

Campground was clean, all sites that I could tell were very well-maintained. The Volunteers on-site, the Thompson's were very welcoming to and helpful if we had any questions, will definitely try to return again next year!!

We loved the campground. It was an absolute beautiful place. We appreciated seeing the sheriff drive through often. The only thing that took away from our first stay there was the 2 campsites across the road from us, were very rowdy until late at night and then on Sunday morning we're blaring their Mexican music for everyone else to hear. I don't know what the solution would have been for something like that, but I would stay there again, just in a different spot.

Great park. Facilities are in good shape. Just a little hard to get to. Roads are very narrow. Also plenty of trails to hike

Very clean and well maintained COE park. Busy boats on the weekends, but by late Monday, everything was very calm. Host came and cleaned out the fire pit when we asked, and he was very friendly. Bathrooms were clean and well supplied.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
