B22 is a wonderful campsite. Right on water . Beautiful view. Bathrooms were clean. No complaints at all

Poorly run. No one is ever around when you need something or have a problem. We have been camping at Dog Creek for almost 15 years its sad to see how bad its gotten.

Had been looking forward to camping 4th of July weekend for several months at Dog Creek with kids and grandkids. One of our favorite places to camp. Immediately open hooking up we started having electrical issues, low voltage causing the surge protector to kick off. The volunteers called the core but no one would come to the next day even though it was only 600 pm. With the threat of no air conditioning the kids decided to go home. Although they got it fixed the next morning it is very disappointing that they wouldnt at least come and try the night before. Very bad service.

Been camping at Dog Creek for over 15 years. Always a good experience. Disappointing we have lost our gate keeper the last two years its hard to find help now. Also grounds are not keep nearly as well grass is always tall even though prices have gone up. Kids play in the grass, we have pulled more ticks off them and seen a lot more snakes the last couple of years. Only other issue gate didnt open until after 4:00 opening day its has always been open after lunch, makes it hard when there is 10 campers trying to get in at the same time.

Love camping at Dog Creek, the weather was just great, it is the only camp ground we use and we camp a lot.

It would be nice if they cut the grass more. Got eaten up with chiggers. Bath house dirty. Something needs to be put out for ants...they are taking over and even get into the camper. People working the front are not friendly at all. We have been coming here for years and this is the worst year up to now.

I have been camping at Dog Creek for 12 years and have never had a complaint. The park does not have attendants now but have volunteers. Thursday night we lost power and was unable to find any of the volunteers. I have camped at this park three times this year and bySaturday afternoon the restroom has been out of toilet paper all three times. That had never happen in the past. Dogs are running loose and no one picking up after them. Also several trees were cut in the park and drug several feet into the water, we have seen several snakes all three times we have camped. I was told this was for fishing but they could have done it away from the campground. Very disappointed in the direction this campground has headed..

The restroom was dirty . The grass needed mowing and trash was in and around our site. The speed limit was not observed and we worried about our children. Dog Creek needs paid attendants to over see the park. Some of the volunteers seem to care less

The volunteers and Camp Attendants are great. Very nice, and do a great job of keeping the campground clean. The boat ramp is an easy few minutes walking distance from all of the campsites. I love being able to to launch my PWC, tie it near my campsite and retrieve my truck without having to pack a survival kit just for the walk! All of the sites are gravel with the exception of one wheelchair accessible site that is concrete. All sites have a fire pit, picnic table and a prep/camp stove table. The bathroom and showers are clean a in very good condition. The campers are usually not very rowdy but that varies from time to time.
All of these reasons are why Dog Creek is my favorite (fairly) local campground.

Excellent campground! We were on Site B022 and it could not have been better! The camp hosts were wonderful (and entertaining!) and when we notified them, they immediately handled a wasp situation at the site. Super quiet with easy access to the interstate as we were there for just one night. Would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks!

Excellent spot on Nolin Lake, very little through boat traffic which makes it a great place for SUP boarding. Great hosts, clean bathrooms / showers.

I had a beautiful site right on the water. Host was very helpful in helping me add an additional night. Plus/minus, depending on how you look at it, my ATT cell service was non-existent. Bring DVDs if you have kids and it rains.

The site was perfect you can pull a pontoon right up beside it. Bathrooms were clean we will definitely be back to this site.

We camp at Dog Creek off and on all summer long. While we have always had a great time, this last visit left me aggravated. The grass at all the campsites needed to be mowed. I have a 1 1/2 year old granddaughter and the grass was past her knees in some spots! we camp for the kids and they could not play in the grassy areas without complaining about being itchy. This one visit will not keep us from going back but it is an issue that I feel should be addressed.

Great Hosts! Small CG, great for kids. Kayaking and swimming in small beach. Loved it!
