Beautiful lake location. Caught several fish right by our trailer.

Very clean & pretty park, busy way with traffic in the park, plus lots of highway noise and not much privacy at all.

Excellent shaded sites. Clean bathrooms. A surprisingly nice park to camp at with hiking trails. We stayed at outlet park and great experience.

What a great park. Lots of trees, nice paths and the maintenance people Curtis and Brenda are the greatest care takers ever. They go out of their way to help people and are so very friendly My only complaint is that the lots are hard to get for more than three days because of people reserving 2 and 4 weeks at a time the later cancel all but the week ends. The 2 weeks a month are not enforced as some use two different emails to log almost full time occupancy. We love the place and want to go several time this summer but it is a challenge trying to get around these 2 unfair practices of others. I am referring to section C with these comments.

This is a quiet, well-laid-out park with lots of green space, lots of water, lots of wildlife. I was there over Memorial Day weekend and there was plenty of room for activity or solitude, as one wished, even though the campground was full.The Host and Staff are also quite friendly and helpful. I had trouble getting online and then getting a site because of holiday weekend requirements that weren't posted on the website where I could see them.

Love the waterside camp spots along the pond! Big, very spacious campsites. One of our favorite campgrounds.

Melvern Lake is a beautiful place to camp. Sites are nicely spaced and several back up to lake. Restrooms have showers too and are spotless. Camped on our way to Iowa and liked it so much we planned our trip back so we could stop there again.

C-loop is a beautiful campground, the pond in the Outlet is good fishing along with the trails. There were server storms two nights while I was there, the next morning the camp maintains were out cleaning up. There is no way to have a bad experience at the outlet campground.

Beautiful park, spotless showers, and very well maintained. The only problem in reserving a spot in "C" is that they have to be booked 6 mo. in advance. When we were there, at east 5-6 spots were not occupied. alto showed booked on the site. Not fair to others that would like to use those spots. What's the deal?

Excellent place to camp. Trails are great for walking or riding bikes. Bath houses kept very clean. We love this campground!

Love Melvern Lake Outlet C-Loop. Beautiful old trees, privacy, spacious sites, nice trails & playground equipment. Unfortunately, because it's so nice, it's hard to get a spot on the water.

The Melvern Outlet Campground is fantastic. It's always clean, quiet, and full of friendly people. The staff are attentive, and sheriffs and park rangers drive through often. Everyone I talk to says that it's the best campground around.

Nice clean facility
@JackD8591053 · Camped on Apr 25, 2025 at Campsite #69
The only thing I think would have made it better was if some of the limbs were removed. I know the weather hasnt been very helpful with that.

The people that work here are great. The volunteers are dedicated, as well. We stayed in 38, which had a lot of room between campsites. The showers were close & kept very clean. There is a coin op laundry room behind the shower. We caught a few fish from the shore line. It was a nice stay. Well be back to this well -run campground.

Great weather semi level sites amenities worked. The only thing wrong were sharp rocks. Also a branch from a tree fell on a camper. The rangers need to take better care of the area. They have also terminated a tree since the last time I was there.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
