Very clean. Loved my spot. Very Quiet. Didn't have reservation but just a quick phone call. During week, I didn't see any host/ranger but might have missed them. Definitely would come back.

We very much appreciated that the bathrooms were so well maintained; very clean and even smelled good.

We really enjoy staying at turkey point. Jim and Tammy are great for keeping the bathrooms clean and well supplied. We enjoy visiting with them too. We would love to see more sites built and also a pavilion, sand volleyball and horseshoe pits. Our only complaint is too many dogs! One dog per site is ENOUGH! And make them clean up their messes.

The shower house was very clean and well stocked with tp and soap. The pavilion was clean and had lots of trash cans that were emptied at least once or twice a day. Good seating and nice shaded area to hang out; we had about 30 people. Large parking lot right next to the camp sites for parking the boats and trucks. Some of the sites require boards under the tires to help with leveling. The boat ramp is located within a good location. The area was patrolled several times a day/evening by the ranger or sheriff. Our group had a great time and will be back.

Park was very clean & volunteers were so kind.

Sites were all fairly level with a few requiring 1-3 on the low side. One toilet, one shower, two sinks in the shower house. Shower and toilets were clean and stocked with TP upon arrival. Plenty of trash cans around and power outlets under the pavilion. Big community fire pit. Great views, basic play equipment for the kids, and a rocky but serviceable beach. Kids had a blast swimming, depending on your boat you may be able to beach it but its not soft sand. Staff and rangers were very friendly and helpful. We had an awesome weekend with a group of 50.

The only problem we had is spots 7 and 8 need to be leveled out, THEY ARE SO BAD U CAN'T GET YOUR CAMPER LEVEL,

We were very happy with the cleanliness of the campground. The bathrooms were clean, everywhere I went. The grass was well mowed. The campground was much improved from the last time we were there.

Our weekend getaway at Turkey Point was very enjoyable, as always. Its one of our favorite places to unwind, and Im glad to see the positive changes in service are still going strong.Jim and Tammy, the groundskeepers, continue to do an outstanding job. The way they interact with campers is truly professionalthey make a point to check in and ensure everything is going well, and they do it with a level of friendliness and care youd expect at a hotel.Their presence adds a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere to the campground. Its clear they take pride in their work, and it really shows in how well-maintained and inviting the entire area feels. Looking forward to our next stay!P.S. Another reviewer commented about the tall grass, and Ill say Ive only experienced that during one camping stay and I camp here about six times a year. Its important to keep in mind that mowing services are contracted out and not done directly by Turkey Point staff. Sometimes things happen. Overall, the grounds are consistently well cared for.

Everything has been great here. Jim and Tammy have done a great job keeping the bathrooms and shower houses clean and smelling fresh. They go by at least twice a day! Very friendly too!

This was one of the nicest parks weve ever stayed at ! Most sites faced the lake. It was well maintained and the sites were very well spaced. We would definitely stay here again!!

This is a topnotch park in Kansas. We would definitely stay here again. The host was friendly and helpful, our site (23) was phenomenal. We saw so many incredible birds including orchard and baltimore orioles and philadelphia vireos.

We really enjoyed our campsite and view of the lake. The campground was clean, and Jim keeps those bathrooms in tip-top shape. They are the cleanest and best-smelling ones we have ever used at a campground!

I had a wonderful time camping here! As always, the view was absolutely beautiful such a peaceful and scenic spot to relax and unwind.This year, I noticed a big improvement in the facilities, especially in the group camping area. The shower house and bathrooms were clean and smelled fresh throughout our stay. In previous years, the outhouse would occasionally give off some pretty unpleasant odors, but that's no longer the case!The new couple in charge of campground upkeep Jim and Tammy are doing an excellent job. They've clearly put a lot of care into keeping every area clean and well-maintained. The outhouses are now stabilized and maintained so well that they're not noticeable anymore.It's been great to see the positive changes with the grounds. Looking forward to coming back again!

Lots of open space. Not a whole lot of shade but a good location. Very clean, mowed and trimmed. The volunteers working were very nice and helpful!

Really good campground. Very quiet, quick access to water. They accept any type of dog and the bathrooms are clean.

We have camped here many times and always enjoy it for several reasons. Its quiet, well maintained, clean, patrolled, great views and mostly good sites. We stayed at 22 the last time there and its a great non electric site with shade, space between neighboring sites, and right on the water. Has a great fire pit location and a well grated site. There is a decline toward the water

Site 30, Turkey Point. Very close to the lake with a stone path to get there. Shaded.

The proximity to the lake was a highlight and the open space for dog walks and hikes was also a bonus but the shower facility was top notchI could have lounged in the shower for ever! Hot water, very clean and real shower doors which gives plenty of privacy - loved it!
@KimR9289112 · Camped on Sep 7, 2024 at Campsite #14
I have a 4x4 overland truck. The tent spots are on the lake shore, table and bbq pit facing fall sunrise. Very low light pollution except from Osage City. There is a very active trail track. Youll hear the train horns at night. But the lake view and shore waves were a great sleep aid. Restroom and shower were clean and working, lots of hot water.

Campground:PROS: Clean, quiet, safe, easy access, well maintained, friendly staff and rangers, expansive land area, good for biking and walking, many sites with lake views and easy lake accessCONS: some sites very close to each other, some sites have no shade, lake side sites have no electricity connection Site:PROS: well spaced from other sites, great 180 degree lake views, good fire ring placement for lake and star views, easy lake access for kayaks, fishing, and floating, close access to showers and toiletsCONS: not the most maintained site/uneven, needs additional gravel, not a level site , no shade at site

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
