Space between campsites was great! Some of the pads aren't quite level. Swimming beach was nice, but geese leave their deposits. Lake water seemed quite clear.

Richey Cove was a very clean and well kept park. Bathrooms were clean most of the time. Although shower heads were non functioning. Richey cove is a very convenient park close to many amenities. Lots of history to discover in Council Grove and not too far from the big KState town of Manhattan.

Very nice lakeside campsite. Fire ring less than 20 feet from the water. Pad slopes down from the road which added a bit of extra work to get backed in and level in our 5th wheel. Definitely will keep this site in mind for future trips.

We had one of the best days of our lives on this campsite. We were the only ones on the island and the weather was perfect for 2 days.

We had a great experience. This was our first time at this lake. The facilities were well maintained and clean. We especially liked that there was a lot of space for our grandkids to play.

The campgrounds was nice. Clean and easy to get around. The boat ramp was nice and easy to use. I like the bathroom and shower house was great. They do need to be cleaned better and the showers need some work. The lake was great. Now as far as tent camping at site one there needs to be some dirt work to give some level ground for the tents. Not a deal breaker but would like to have leveler ground. Will camp here again

I stayed in site #2. Its right on the water and I could watch the sunset over the water. The roof over the picnic table is great. The restrooms/showers arent fancy but its hard to beat for the price.

Richey Cove is an excellent camping spot with the swimming beach and everything all in one spot. I stayed in spot 001 with my son and it was perfect for tent camping. Will definitely be going back!

We stayed in sites 8 and 9. The sites are spacious. They are beachfront with some afternoon shade. The tail of our camper faced the east. The cove is a nice swimming area. There is an official swimming beach near the campsite. I would warn anyone camping along the beach to be aware that on the weekend, especially during the summer months, it is very likely boats will beach themselves right behind your camper or somewhere along the shoreline. With that, can come loud music and partying. At minimum, restricting your view of the lake.

Richie Cove is a popular location where you can camp just next to the beach, out on a peninsula, or near the boat ramp. Most of the sites have plenty of shade. We always enjoy camping there.

The facilities were impeccably clean, the grass was nicely trimmed and the park was in very good order for great spring camping.

Our site was very spacious with a great view of the lake. Site was level. Water pressure seemed a little low compared to what were used to at other parks. The campground was quiet. Several owners let their dogs off leash, which isnt the campgrounds fault, but still annoying. The only reason we didnt give it 5 stars is due to all the random items (trash?) that was left around our site. It was definitely stuff that had been left there, and not blown in. That being said, we would definitely return.

Very nice camp site. The shower houses and rest rooms were clean and well stocked. The only complaint were the boat docks. The water was so low we could not get our boat in the water. Docks need to be floating docks.

Highly recommended a visit to Council Grove! The park was gorgeous well maintained, close to town, and had spectacular views.

Beautiful sunsets on the lake, friendly neighboring campers with a fire and fun stories to tell, the aurora borealis to view, nearby Munker Creek to kayak on, Council Grove with its historical venues and delicious restaurants - we had a delightful camping experience here and will definitely return.

We love Council Grove Reservoir and camping there. It's got good fishing for several species and the lake isn't generally crowded. The campground is just down the road from the city and a short drive to Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat with the granddaughters and rest of the family. Hannah with the COE was very helpful with a question about the reservation system and discounted rates and she resolved our dilemma nicely.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
