Shady Creek Campground in Muscatine County is located 31 min west of Davenport, IA with an elevation of 559 feet. There are a total of 54 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of May to the end of October. 53 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 40 and 92 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $20.00 to $25.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, boat ramp, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

A little noisy with both highway traffic and trains going by, but not too bad.Nice campground with the added interest if being able to watch barge traffic and river cruise touring boats passing by on the river.The most notable negative is the moldy condition of the shower curtain in the men's bathroom. In addition the rusty stains from iron content of the shower water are unattractive.

Most of the sites do not have a view of the Mississippi River. I got one of the few that do. Quiet 53 site campground. I enjoyed my stay.

This was our first time there very nice part hostess were very nice and polite. The pads are concrete plenty of room between campers Mississippi rivers in your background well definitely come back.

Beautiful Park atmosphere right next to the Mississippi River. Sites are not crammed together. Train does come through once in awhile but gets you up for the day as well.

On one side of the park you can watch the barges and boat go by on the back side you get to hear the trains. Very relaxing and calming.

We came without reservations because we had planned on staying at another park and found last minute that it was full. A Ranger helped us to get reservations at Shady Creek and was very helpful to us. We got a beautiful shady spot and had a wonderful time! Everyone at this park from the mowing guy to the the camp host and rangers are always kind and helpful! Restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained also!

We love staying at Corp of Engineers campgrounds, and Shady Creek is no exception. As old fogies, we are interested in easily accessible shoreside fishing spots. We did not fish there, but that didn't seem as easily accessible as some others are.

Well-kept campground with level concrete pads for the trailer & tow vehicle, as well as for the picnic table and around the fire pit. We had a great view of the river without pesty mosquitoes. We'll Definitely be back!

This campground is absolutely lovely! The parking pads are huge, level and concrete slabs. They all have 50 AMP electric and a cute box with a night light. Its right on the river where you can take a walk up and down. Theres also a small boat dock you can use for fishing or small water rec toys. The playground and gazebo are a nice feature. The shower area and facilities are well maintained and clean. The staff is absolutely lovely. Great location close to Wildcat Den State Park and Muscatine! Highly recommend this campground if youre in the area or considering coming out this way!
