Wallashuck Campground in Marion County is located 55 min east of Des Moines, IA with an elevation of 822 feet. There are a total of 79 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of April to mid October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 33 and 82 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric hookups. Prices start at $20.00 per night. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

It was our first time here. The campground was so clean and well kept. The shower house and bathrooms were clean. The space between sites is so good. It was peaceful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's very close to Pella. We will definitely stay at Wallashuck again.

Had site 2. Level side to side if you are towards the back but slopes off to the back so you need to come down in the front quite a bit to level but it's doable. Nice privacy with some shade late. Verizon signal good able to stream tv. Just an overnight for us but would stay again if in the area.

Lot 52 large and mostly level. Bathrooms clean and shower is ok . Quiet and peaceful

We like Wallashuck because it is far from traffic noise. The restrooms were very clean and well maintained. We have camped at Wallashuck many times and have never been disappointed.

The camp sites are excellent! They are spacious and well maintained. Overall, the park is pristine. With tall shade trees, an abundance of wildlife, and the beauty of the lake it is second to none.

Absolutely amazing place, quiet and beautiful. We had a great time and will definitely be back.All the sites are nicely spaced, clean with easy access. The access to the bike trails is right off the main road.

friendly, campsite and bathrooms clean. We saw a car riding on the walking trail. There are no barriers on the walking trail that crosses the road. That was not safe for walkers, bicycles that were on the trail enjoying the scenery. Please consider blocking the trails so that cars cannot enter for the safety of others.

It is just a beautiful campground! Staff is very nice. Plenty of shade, and a good view of the lake. The thing I like the most is your not packed in. They a very spacious sites. They only thing I would like to see improved upon is there aren't water hydrants very near. If you plan to stay a while it would be nice to be able to run a hose to a hydrant to refill water supply. I will be back.

Nice quiet park. Clean facilities, plenty of space at the campsite, fire wood available for purchase. Lake was very nice as well!

The campground was beautiful! The sites are giant and private. Site 15 was hilly, but there was a large patch that was flat enough for our tent so it wasnt an issue. Short drive to Pellas main street, which was lovely. Highly recommend!

I felt the picture did not accurately represent the actual camping spot, so I felt a little misled. But the time spent there was pleasant, and it is a nice campground.

Very nice, well maintained COE park! Great bike trail too! We enjoyed walking around the town of Pella. Lots of good places to eat and abundant shopping. Highly recommend!

Very nice campground however there are no trash cans or dumpsters anywhere within the campground itself, only at the exit dump. Very inconvenient.

A very clean and well laid out park. If anything was off it was that the dump stations were not level so you could not fully drain your tanks.

Wallashuck never disappoints. Large sites with ample green space between the campsites. Love all the trees and being able to watch and listen to all the birds.
