Boulder Rec Area in Clinton County is located 1 hr 7 min east of Belleville, IL with an elevation of 457 feet. There are a total of 82 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid April to mid October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 43 and 101 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. 8 sites have electric and water hookups. 74 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $36.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, laundry facility, playground, boat ramp, marina, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Boulder was such a wonderful experience! The grounds are maintained really nicely, they come around every morning and clean out the fire pits, the staff was amazing and so friendly! Of course, the beauty of the lake is incredible and the campground for a holiday weekend so peaceful!! Definitely will be back.

Its beautiful. Employees were super nice and accommodating. The only issue I had were how bad the bugs were. We camp all the time at different locations and Ive never experienced bugs like that before.

A great place. Been here a few times and cant say enough good things about it. Very clean and well kept. Hosts go above and beyond to make your visit great. Our go to place 1.5 hours from st. Louis, our home.

5/5We absolutely loved our stay! The camp hosts were amazing so welcoming, helpful, and always making sure everyone was taken care of. The sites are well maintained, level, and easy to set up on. The location itself is beautiful, offering peaceful views and a relaxing atmosphere. Restrooms were cleaned regularly and always stocked, which made our stay even more comfortable. We cant wait to come back!

The atmosphere of Boulder campground is very family friendly. The play ground in the center of the campground is rather small but enough for several small children to play at once. The only recommendation I would suggest is adding to the play ground area and equipment.

Awesome campground way nicer than KOA or good Sam. The pads are all paved very wide and are very level. Even the picnic table is on the paved pad. Keeps the camper very clean inside.

Very clean shower house and many shaded spots to pick from. We were in #62 which had a lot of area and shade and very close to the shower house.

The hosts Kevin & Wendy were super friendly & helpful! And the nightly sunsets over the lake were my favorite part of our stay! The bathrooms were clean & air conditioned! We took the ranger-led sunset tour of the dam which was interesting and watched fireworks from the Dam West Beach.

First true camp in our camper. Two kids 5/3 absolutely 100% EPIC! Memories made forever. The most friendly camp hosts. Absolutely clean shower houses and bathrooms. The absolute best first place to make memories!

The sites are great. The campground hosts are even better. They remember you, come visit, make it a great weekend. We used to do Pere Marquette all the time but have moved to Boulder. The park is clean and all sites have a lake view.
