We have been camping at this campground for 20 plus years. We enjoy the fully treed serenity of it along with the close access to the river at multiple points. The fire rings here are excellent and have very useable swinging cooking grates vs the commonly found flip over style. This allows keeping an item cooking over the fire and just keeping something warm next to it. Since Big Hank and Kit Price were clear cut logged some years back we no longer camp at them as there is little privacy between the campsites. The Camp Host at Devils Elbow is a great person. He does an excellent job of keeping the bathrooms clean and being conversive with campers.

It was lovely. The only thing that would have made it 5 star would be public showers with in a 0-10 miles radius

We love Devl's elbow in the fall. It's quiet and fellow campers are very friendly.

Great area with lots of trees. Most sites are heavily wooded and relatively private because of all the trees. Water is a bit of a pain because of the old hand pump but a cool feature of the campground. Camp host was a nice guy to talk to. Walk to river was nice. Weve gotten soft in our old age, have a trailer now, and had to use the generator about an hour per day because not enough sunshine through the trees for the solar panels to charge the batteries but the trees sure are nice. The river is nice too on hot sunny days.

We had a great trip here! Our campsite had a trail that led directly to the river. The toilets were decent and never in-use when needed. Our neighbors were a bit loud, and the campsites were closer together than we expected. Id recommend this spot for a shorter stay.

Cute little campground, but the sites are all backwards when you back in your trailer. We had to pull in front ways in order for our door to be near the tables and campfire ring. But overall it was a good trip, its lush up there for a reason, watch out for rain!

Lovely campground! We have come a week earlier in July for the past 3 years. The river is beautiful but not deep enough to kayak from Hanks to Devils Elbow without portaging.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
