Site accommodated my 35' 5th wheel and truck. Getting into the site was a bit of a challenge with the very arrow access road and driveway. Lots of low hanging tree limbs over the access road. Site had plenty of privacy and very spacious. There is 1 central spigot a couple sites down, and it is a hand pump and very stiff pumping. Good workout filling a 6 gallon jug!

Away from lake access, nice camp spot, truckers using Jake brakes echoing in valley.

Beautiful campground, with well marked sites which have foliage around to help with privacy. Camp Host was very nice and helpful. Coeur dAlene lake is a rocks throw from the campground but theres no public access from the campground and the road around the lake is not really bike safe. Sites are paved but theres road to the campground is dirt and had a couple potholes.

Nice campground, not too far from Couer D'Alene

22 minutes from Coeur D'Alene, 2 minutes from Mineral Ridge trailhead, 15 minutes to Blue Creek Bay public fishing/day use dock. Only 19 sites, first 7 are open in a field. The pit toilets are the cleanest we've ever seen. Only potable water is from a hand pump - which is a fun, unique experience, if you have two people to fill up water bottles. Unfortunately the logging trucks are loud, and you can hear road noise. We stayed in the last site, #19, which was more secluded. A few yellow jackets and mosquitos, but not too bad. We parked in a gravel lot on side of 97 near Wolf Bay, and then paddle boarded under 97 into Wolf bay and explored between the cat-tails. There is no public access to Beauty Bay, which is disappointing. Mineral ridge was a steady climb with a spectacular view. 5 people fishing at Blue Creek Bay, off of California trail, when we paddle boarded in the evening. Person fishing at Wolf Lodge Bay Point https://maps.app.goo.gl/RdqCxwyeFmw3GU6U6 caught 5.

We had a two-night stay at this nice campground, which is really close to the lake. For a National Forest campground, it was goodbut there are a few things you should know before you go.We stayed at tent site 007, which we chose based on reviews saying it was the most secluded. That was mostly true. The tent area was tucked behind some bushes, though you could still see the road and a few other sites.One thing to note: many of the tent and some RV sites are fairly open to each other, so dont expect total privacy. For most tent sites, including #7, youll have to park in an assigned spot and walk about 150 feet to your campsite, hauling your gear in.There were vault toiletsdefinitely not the cleanest, but not terrible either.Firewood was being sold at the campground for $8 per bundle. We found it much cheaper in town (about a 20-minute drive away); WinCo had bundles for $5.The water is potable and comes from an old-fashioned hand pump. You cant hook a hose to it, and there's a small valve on top you have to hold open so it doesnt spray out of the water fountain portion. The pump isnt too hard to use, but it does take some effort. Its doable solo, but expect it to be 10 times harder. My girlfriend held the water tank while I did the pumping, which worked out well.There are lots of little critters running around, so be mindful with your food and keep things secured.Overall, we had a good time. We mainly used the campground as a base for our activities in Coeur d'Alene.Theres also a 9-mile hike that starts right in the campground, and a scenic 3-mile trail just down the road.One thing to be aware of: theres a logging road next to the camp, and the trucks are loud, especially in the valley. They start pretty early in the morning.I found a video on YouTube that shows all the campsites, which helped us pick site #7it was super helpful:https://youtu.be/Pkkg58MkoyA

The campground was nice and the host was very friendly and on top of all her duties to keep everything maintained. Besides the hiking trail, there wasnt much at this campground. The creek was all dried up and a cat that lives at the campground urinated inside one of our tents on that person's only sleeping bag.

Beautiful spot but the logging trucks make an incredible amount of noise throughout the valley starting in the middle of the night.

Campsite 7 had a perfect hideaway beyondThe tree line to put a tent, hammock, and chairs. Spent most our time behind the tree line rather than the table provided due to the close proximity to other campgrounds. 7 has a perfect nook within the trees to feel much more secluded

nice camp ground with good distance between them. Fishing on lake only by boat.

Beautiful campsite. Some of the spaces are quite small, had a little problem backing in. Logging trucks made it a little noisy in the early mornings. Campground was well kept and clean.

Normally nice but really loud due to logging trucks going up and down using loud exhaust brakes. We had to leave early because it was so loud.

We had a great stay, but camp ground was not very clean as there were broken glass and trash around fire pit and table. we used our own amenities. Great hiking close by

Come on Forest Service - spend about $50 and fill those nasty pot holes that greet you as you enter the campground road. If they dont wreck you tires, theyll ruin your suspension.

Thousands of yellow jackets and they were aggressive, dried creek, and not much to do. Paid for 2 days left after 1 day in the morning.

Well getting into the campground was the hardest part. Pot holes the size of kiddy swimming pools. We popped a tire on the way out. Will not be going back until that is fixed. The one rv spot we picked was the only spot facing the wrong way so we had to go all the way down, turn around and go against the one-way to back in. Odd group of campers, many clearly living out of their vehicles and leaving and going at odd hours. Our neighbors sat in their truck the entire afternoon/evening with the motor running then again started up the truck at 3am until we left our site at 8. This would be a very nice campground if better maintained and actively patrolled. Sad since we have stopped here in years past and felt it has worsened. The dry creek bed is full of gorgeous red rocks and the trails behind are wonderful. Sadly the campground itself is a few notches less.

Nice spot for one night. Glad they had tent-only sites, but some of them are very close together. Suprised that a tenter was using a generator, but at least it was off by 10pm. Creek was dry. Yellow jackets weren't as bad as I anticipated given warnings on recreation,gov.

This is really a beautiful and quiet campground with access to hiking. Sites are fairly level. The campground host was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we had to leave after one night when we had planned four nights, due to hornets everywhere. We could not have any peace sitting outside or to cook. The host was helpful in supporting a refund appropriately. We would love to return.

I'm happy that the campground exists. It is close to the lake which is nice. Two things that were bad is 1) the access road has massive potholes that could have been fixed. One trailer axel was destroyed by them. VERY disappointing. And 2) this year the yellowjackets were very bad. The gist did his best to spray and put it traps.

Bees. So many bees. It was awful.Beautiful campground, near the lake etc... but if you need to cook outside or want to sit around the campfire, the bees will get ya!Literally THOUSANDS of them at our site (8).

We have stayed here a few times over the past few years, it is often a nice quiet spot for a stop over on our way through northern Idaho.

The campground was nice and the host was good. The only down side was there were a lot of bees. They were pretty passive if you didn't scare them, but they were everywhere. Bring a netted gazebo or canopy if you have one.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
