Gorgeous campground. Close to many great liking locations. Due to the elevation, it's much cooler than the Sacramento Valley and substantially cooler than other locations in the Sierra. The host was conscientious and helpful.

Nice cement pad for campsite. Was difficult to get reservations. Reserved signs throughout the campground on all the camp sites, yet only about 20 percent of us showed up to camp. Which made it nice for us. A big 5th wheel had a generator running all day, allowed, but if you need to escape noise pollution, not the best place. The meadows and trails were breathtaking beautiful, and high elevation, though makes hiking a little harder, made for a very cool night.

Gorgeous campground, very clean and well designed. Plenty of space between sites. We really enjoyed our double site, with no neighbors behind us.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable and friendly high-altitude campground. Superb trails for all levels of hikers can be reached from Mt Rose Campground. Very convenient location for attending the Shakespeare play at Sand Harbor

This is a fabulous RV/tent camp. The spaces are far apart and the camp is kept very clean. You can't find a better host than Mark. The location is perfect between Incline Village and Reno.

lovely campground! Very clean vault toilets, level parking, concrete picnic area with fire pit, bbq, table, bear box and a 'counter' stand. the tent area was obvious, level and covered in sand (a good thing). I hope to return some day.

The campground is well situated and very clean. Each campsite is unique with plenty of space. The bathrooms were the cleanest of any campground we have been to !

This was our first time visiting this campground, and we absolutely loved it! Its on the smaller side, but very well maintained. The host was warm and welcoming, and firewood is available to purchase on-site. There are plenty of water spigots throughout the campgroundgreat for filling your RVs fresh tank or collecting water if youre tent camping.Bathrooms were impressively clean, and there are several hiking trails you can access right from the campground. Keep in mind that the elevation is quite high, so give yourself a little time to acclimate when you arrive. The higher elevation also means cooler weather, which was a nice bonus.We loved our campsite and the overall experiencedefinitely planning a return trip!Quick tip: If youre coming up from Incline Village, the right-hand turn off the highway into the campground is very sharp. Be extra cautious if youre towing a travel trailer or driving a large RV. As you get close, slow down and keep an eye out for the turnoffits easy to miss.Happy camping!

This is an excellent little campground. After camping there I understand why it is booked most of the time. It was very clean, loved the campsite with the large pad with 2 picknick tables and paved parking spots. The host was very helpful and friendly.

We come every year with 5-7 teardrop trailers. we always have a great time as in the heat of summer, it is 20 degrees cooler than Reno.
@SharonH5098220 · Camped on Jul 30, 2024 at Campsite #6
Perfect other then the one or two folks who feel the need to run their generators right up to 10pm. It be nice if we can have quiet time from 8-10 to enjoy the amazing peacefulness of the wilderness.

Delightful stay. Much cooler temperatures than Reno. Did some nice hikes.

Very nice campground- well maintained. My site was down several steps from the parking space for my RV. That was a bit awkward. It was too hot for a campfire, but this fire ring did not have a rack top for cooking. There was a separate grill tho.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
