lovely campground! Very clean vault toilets, level parking, concrete picnic area with fire pit, bbq, table, bear box and a 'counter' stand. the tent area was obvious, level and covered in sand (a good thing). I hope to return some day.

The campground is well situated and very clean. Each campsite is unique with plenty of space. The bathrooms were the cleanest of any campground we have been to !

This was our first time visiting this campground, and we absolutely loved it! Its on the smaller side, but very well maintained. The host was warm and welcoming, and firewood is available to purchase on-site. There are plenty of water spigots throughout the campgroundgreat for filling your RVs fresh tank or collecting water if youre tent camping.Bathrooms were impressively clean, and there are several hiking trails you can access right from the campground. Keep in mind that the elevation is quite high, so give yourself a little time to acclimate when you arrive. The higher elevation also means cooler weather, which was a nice bonus. We loved our campsite and the overall experiencedefinitely planning a return trip!Quick tip: If youre coming up from Incline Village, the right-hand turn off the highway into the campground is very sharp. Be extra cautious if youre towing a travel trailer or driving a large RV. As you get close, slow down and keep an eye out for the turnoffits easy to miss.Happy camping!

This is an excellent little campground. After camping there I understand why it is booked most of the time. It was very clean, loved the campsite with the large pad with 2 picknick tables and paved parking spots. The host was very helpful and friendly.

We come every year with 5-7 teardrop trailers. we always have a great time as in the heat of summer, it is 20 degrees cooler than Reno.

Perfect other then the one or two folks who feel the need to run their generators right up to 10pm. It be nice if we can have quiet time from 8-10 to enjoy the amazing peacefulness of the wilderness.

Delightful stay. Much cooler temperatures than Reno. Did some nice hikes.

Very nice campground- well maintained. My site was down several steps from the parking space for my RV. That was a bit awkward. It was too hot for a campfire, but this fire ring did not have a rack top for cooking. There was a separate grill tho.

Great stay at this favorite campsite. Host is friendly but not obtrusive and does an absolutely fantastic job of keeping the restrooms clean.

Beautiful mountain top location with easy access to hike to the Galena waterfalls or up to Mt. Rose summit....in addition to a number of trails that can be quieter, with fewer people. Views of Lake Tahoe on nearby trails. The campground itself was well maintained, as were the rest rooms. Campground hosts were polite and had firewood stacked, available to those who want a campfire at night. Reservations are necessary for many nights - especially weekends or holidays. The hike in tent sites have some of the best views. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely, local campground, and the camp hosts are FANTASTIC. Andrew Connectt & Ashley keep the sites and the restrooms immaculate. Hope that they return next year. We have one complaint, & that is that Rec.gov needs to enforce the access to handicapped sites & not allow non-handicapped people use them. Specifically, site #12 at Mount Rose. Hopefully handicapped signs & numbers will be required information on the Rec.gov website when people choose a camp spot. I am handicapped & have had difficulty with this. Thank you.

This campground is very well-maintained. It's developed enough that it's very convenient (easy parking, leveled spot for your tent, picnic tables and fire rings, water spigots, bear lockers, firewood for sale, and vault toilets) but it's also still very beautiful. The spots aren't too close together, although I definitely heard the neighboring kids playing. Pro tip: walk to the front of the campground and head left onto the trailhead for a gentle 1.5 mi loop around a gorgeous meadow with a creek, wildflowers, and signs about the history and nature unique to this area. This loop connects to the Tahoe Rim Trail so you may see some backpackers. Be polite and say hello! The host was very friendly and helpful. Dogs are allowed, which is wonderful, just be sure to keep them on leash. One camper let her dog go off and it tackled a nice old dog who was on-leash. It was very upsetting to watch. The host gave the negligent owner a warning.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
