Smallest campsite Ive ever been to. Very open- no privacy at all. Barely any trees throughout entire campground and no views. If you are desperate to find a spot to sleep stay here- otherwise try Avalanche.

Loved our stay here at St. Mary's. Right on the Going to the Sun road it's an ideal location. If you're hungry head out of the park to the north to Two Sisters ~ great food!

Very scenic and convenient campground

Lovely, quiet campsite, even as a tent camper in Loop C, with lots of RVs. Loved the accessible, free hot showers and electricity in the restrooms! Also loved being close to the ranger evening presentation area. Was surprised to have T-Mobile cell reception from our site.

Very noisy neighbors all night. Bathrooms were in good shape.

Very close to town. Clean bathrooms and showers were nice. They had a gathering from park rangers to talk about the national park. And down at the visitors center you could stargaze at night. Great sites and the views were amazing of the mountain

We stayed at C155 at the end of August. The campsite is spacious and has great views. The serviceberries were abundant. The birds in the morning plentiful. We walked to the St. Mary River bridge at dusk and saw a beaver in the river, heard some elk bugling in the distance. It's as far away from the karaoke bar as you can be but I still recommend earplugs on Mondays and Wednesdays when the local staff goes wild at the bar and you are a light sleeper.

Convenient large campground at the east entrance. Mix of open and screened with foliage sites. I could do without the electric poles and wires marring the scenery, but it would probably be too costly and disruptive to the campground to put the lines underground. Bathrooms clean and had electric outlets. Two stations to dump grey water and fill potable water tanks. No electric hookups for RVs

Great little camp sites. Bring your levelers for slight adjustments if needed. The bathrooms facilities were hotel level clean and also a wash basin room. Loved it there will return !!

Always enjoyable experience exploring Glacier NP from base camp at St Mary.

Beautiful campsite with good view and not too close to others. Decent ground for tents but kind of small so its better for smaller tents. A little uneven but it was terrible for two of us.

Quiet campground only two minutes from the east entrance. Very easy access to gas/market, and a good Verizon signal for those who need to stay connected. Bathrooms everywhere but showers are only in C loop, but no complaints about the quiet, scenic stroll to get there.

There was no hot water in the shower we used. The one on the far left when facing the shower house

Love the aspens! And very clean restrooms and showers.

We had a pull through site with good tree cover, including short trees/shrubs which were loaded with purple berries. We appreciated the privacy from other campers. Restrooms were clean. The location of the water supply was not well-marked; eventually we realized that it was very close, at the back of our campsite (between loops). We were only staying one night and had a quiet, peaceful experience.

I would start a visit to Glacier National Park at St Mary's visitor center. It has the best orientation to the park. Compared to the other campgrounds, which are wooded, St Mary's is open with shrub-height vegetation and small aspen trees. It can be windy and cold or hot. The other campgrounds are protected by the wooded forest from both wind and sun.

Had a great time at St Mary campground at GNP. The facilities were good. The camp hosts were excellent!

It was disappointing to see only two out of the four available showers functional for the whole campground. One of which doesnt have hot water. Its an amazing place to camp but improvements need to be made. To not have the infrastructure maintained really takes away from the experience. The site I was at (B91) was not level and had trip hazards from wooden poles once being in the ground but cut off 4 or so above the surface. Glacier is the most beautiful place on earth. Please invest more resources into making this campground worthy of the destination.

Campground host was a park ranger and did a good job managing the campground. The free park shuttle service was good.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
