We were there after the regular season and it was primitive only, so no water, no dump. Unfortunately The Going To The Sun Road was also closed due to an early storm so we werent able to do some of the hikes. The campground itself was very nice.

Sites were available and clean despite the shutdown

Very nice campground, only wish additional vault toilet after season closures

Slight slope to site we needed to use four 3/4 board to get somewhat level in a van. Nice table surrounded by brushes which help the cook stove.

Having only one vault toilet for the entire loop of the campground that was open was a strain. I picked my campsite right next to the regular restrooms which were closed when I got there and the outside water was off. The vault toilet was at the other end of the loop. The fact the regular restrooms were closed was not listed on the website

Campground was in primitive status but there was an easily accessible pit toilet. Campground was clean and easy to navigate.

Campsite is in a good location. Spacious sites but not all really that flat. Only C loop was open when we went and are all pull through sites, kind of at weird angles, some had trees in between the sites and the camp road. We didnt realise when we booked (nor did it say) that the flush toilets were not open. This left the whole campsite to use one pit toilet at the other end of the campsite. Views of the mountains were amazing though!

The campground offered some privacy between camp sites and while it wasnt noted, the restrooms and showers were closed when we arrived. There was one vault / pit toilet to use for the whole campground, but it was clean and well maintained. There were also multiple dumpters which was helpful given we were in bear country. We thankfully didnt see any! If we had to stay in Glacier again, we would stay at St. Marys Campgrounds.

Great campground inside the park at the last of the season. Most of the park was shut down. We stayed on loop C. Not much space in the sites for large rigs.

This is a good campground. We visited toward the end of the season so it was primitive camping only. Some of the sites are private and wooded and others are in the open with great views.

Beautiful place to stay! Great entry into the park. It would have been helpful to know that the water would be turned off but, otherwise very enjoyable

Campground was primitive. No water. No showers. No flush toilets. Not even a light in the outhouse.

After labor day, the campground is down to one loop. They close the main bathroom with probably 3-4 toilets and in their place, have ONE pit toilet. It was busy.

Nice campground within easy reach of services at St. Mary's (gas, groceries).

Great location. It was mid September so everything was turned off and closed but we came prepared. We stayed in loop c which I think was the only loop open.

Nice enough spot. Close to the visitor center, and walking distance to other things in the tiny village of Saint Mary. My only gripe would be that the water was shut off in the campground in the middle of September. Why not wait until the end of September when the park is closed? So no access to the nicer bathrooms, just the vault toilet. Had to get water for the site from the visitor center nearby. Just rather inconvenient, when the rest of the park was open.

Really well designed campground! Each site allows you to pull in and out in one direction, which made entering and exiting very smooth. The ground was well prepared for planting a tent and the bathroom and water facilities were also nice. Only hitch was that the restrooms nearest our site were closed for renovation, which was a disappointment mainly because we booked that site to have close access. Would certainly book here again!

We booked 5 nights online and there was no announcement that the campground would go into primitive status. On our first day, restrooms and water were available, but starting the second day everything was shut down with no running water and no restrooms, only pit toilets. We were camped right in front of the restroom area and it was extremely frustrating to wake up and find it closed without warning.A lot of campers around us were also upset. Imagine reserving, expecting basic facilities, and suddenly being left without water or bathrooms. Because of this, we had no choice but to cut our stay short and move to another campground.We are very disappointed with how poorly this was handled. At the very least, there should have been a clear notice online before booking or an announcement at check-in. This campground really let us down.

Great location and very quiet spot. We visited toward the end of the season and the water was shut off after our first night but you could get water at the visitors center

Was a nice quiet night. Bathroom and access to water was really appreciated. Only complaint was no toilet paper in the men's room. But we had some in our vehicle

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
