Great campground inside the park at the last of the season. Most of the park was shut down. We stayed on loop C. Not much space in the sites for large rigs.

We loved our stay at St Mary Campground, but luckily we had our own shower because there were only 3 showers available for 156 campsites. However, the woman who cleaned the showers did an amazing job. The few times we used the shower (down time when no one needed it) it was immaculate. The sites are all pull through on the road. Some not very level. The rangers and hosts were available at all times; they were very helpful and nice. FYI - fill your water tank when you enter the campground. There is a potable water faucet at the dump station.

Showers were fantastic, clean, large, lots of hot water! Ranger nightly lectures are a must!Funny, informative and they were all so well spoken! Special highlight was Ranger Frank John! Our 40 trailer site was a bit tight but doable, and happy to have a site in the park.Given the age of when these sites were created were lucky we fit at all, lol You can miss all the road construction going to St Mary, by turning in Browning, MT and take Hwy 464 ( Duck Lake Rd) instead of going straight up Hwy 89, which was a huge mess!! We came back out this alternate route and it was fantastic.Glacier NP will not disappoint!

It is a place to sleep. No privacy, very few (if any) wooded sites. It was fine, but would probably not stay here again.

Campsites were tight and pull-throughs required one-way parking which meant our camper opened to the street. Showers were out of order/being renovated during our stay. Even though the Rising Sun CG had showers 5 miles away, they only had 1 shower gender so long lines were a thing. Even with these disappointments, I'd still book again. The location is fantastic for access to the east side or Many Glacier or Waterton, and campers don't require a pass to access the Going to the Sun Road. Also, the evening Ranger Programs were a huge hit for our kids.

About a mile from the St. Mary entrance great area. Not much to do in the area. small town with gas station along with a few restaurants.
