Quiet and peaceful.

The campground is nice as always. The cleanliness of the facilities was just ok if you're particular about that, but compared to a federally operated pit toilet they are MUCH nicer. I'm not sure when it happened, but they've removed the water spigot from the tent camping area at the top of the hill, so you have to get water from the restrooms, which is a hassle. The fire rings at the tent sites are nicer than what I've seen here in the past, but those are sort of a consumable item so your experience may differ.This place is usually busy on the weekends and clears out on Sunday. As is frequently the case, there were some obnoxious people staying at a site nearby to the one that I was occupying, chopping wood & talking loudly at least until 2:30 in the morning. If avoidance of these types is important to you, then you might try to schedule your trip for the early part of the week when the campground is mostly empty.I don't think I had cell coverage here which is truly a rare treasure to find anywhere in this nation anymore.Cherry Hill campground is an excellent value for the money in my opinion.

Clean, wooded sites with good privacy. Small campground not overly crowded.

The campground and bathrooms were quiet and very clean. Our site was very private with lots of foliage so we didn't feel like we were on top of our neighbors.Only con were the unmarked trailheads. It took us a while to find our way especially with no cell service on the campsite. We wished the campsite had trail maps.

Great campground! Site 2 perfect for car camping! Me and my pup had a great time! Very private!

The tent sites are fine and separated. The only complaint were all trash bins were overflowing and the bathrooms. There are 4 bathrooms only 1 or 2 were working at a time. Hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Broken showers. 1 barely worked and the other one spray everywhere. Would restock toilet paper but it's a big camp ground for only 2 bathrooms. Otherwise peaceful area

There are lots of hiking trails, one from the campsite, and others are very close by.

The campsite was perfect for my 20' Airstream. Cherry Hill Campground was in relatively good shape for a primitive campground. Will definitely go there again.

Fire pits were FILLED with wood ash. There was trash everywhere. Residents living in the campground had trash everywhere in my campsite. Dogs unleashed running around. And loud dogs barking in the evening. Poor maintenance of the facilities and sites.

Really nice campground, very convenient to the Foothills Trail. I love to stay here. I just wish it was open year round.

The campground was very clean and quiet. My site (#13) was very nice. It was great that showers with hot water were available.My only feedback is that the shower curtain was broken and not working properly.

Nice place for a few nights camping. Short hiking trails, fishing. Restrooms are always clean and stocked. Lester the host does a wonderful job. Camp sites have plenty of privacy and are large.

Good campground. A couple of the restrooms could use more frequent attention; toilet paper, showers and sinks that dont completely shutoff, etc., but nothing too bad.

Great campground: very nice sites and EXCELLENT bathrooms: flushable, with running water sinks, and showers which we did not use). The only reason I rate 4/5 vs five was that sites 1 and 2 were VERY close together. We had a lovely family next to us, but had they not been, it would have made the trip far less nice. Also loved the fire pits with the moveable grates - very nice!

Love this campground. Nice to escape a bit from the day to day. The bathrooms are clean and though there is some traffic coming and going the campground tends to not be overly noisy.

We encountered a couple of bears in this area. Usually black bears are scared of humans. All we should have to do is yell at them and they go running. Well! After yelling at these bears and even firing and warning shot in the air, these bears wasn't fazed. Seems like these bears are being fed by humans. Makes for a real dangerous situation. It was a big bear and a cub. So we decided since it wouldn't leave we had too.

My son and I camp there every year. It is a tradition we want to continue many year in the future. Lester the host is so nice and the sites are well kept and secluded. Many memories were made there.

Cherry Hill is our favorite campground EVER, and we have been camping for over 50 years. We are a bit old and not so comfortable anymore with more primitive sites like Burrell's Ford, but we also do not like the crowded trailer park feel of most state parks including Oconee State Park which is just down the road from Cherry Hill. We really appreciate the ABSENCE of wifi, cell signal, electric and water at every site. The camp sites at Cherry Hill are a good size, and most importantly, there is a lot of vegetation left BETWEEN the sites. We live less than 20 miles from North Carolina entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but we always head south to camp at Cherry Hill.

Nice campground, beautiful area with so much to do. Just wish the barking dog thing could have been addressed. Rude for fellow campers to allow it!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
