Lovely campground along the Green River. Site A1 is a back-in site with space for a tent and RV. The bathrooms were clean and have flush toilets, sinks and water available at a fountain just outside. Large cottonwoods provide shade in some sites. My visit was on 9/30 and the weather was good. During the summer it would be hot.

Great primitive campground. Paved roads and sites. Our 35 fifth wheel with disconnected truck just fit in site #3. Great morning views along the river trail.

Just four stars because some other campgrounds we're even better. Nevertheless very nice place to be. Quiet and beautiful nature.

The campsite was super close to the river and restrooms. The campsite was quiet and wel maintained. I had a great night of watching the stars and listening to music. The next morning my battery died on my car but luckily I got a jump from a fellow camper. I can't wait to go back and camp at Dinosaur again. I only hope I can score this same spot again!!

A nice campground with beautiful views. The restroom was clean and the sites have plenty of room. Firewood was available for us to purchase.

We reserved a spot for a travel trailer. When we got there, the picnic table and gathering area was on the wrong side. Our trailer door opened to shrubs/trees. Also, we called ahead and talked to a person about dropping off our trailer the next day in the parking lot of the museum but not once did she say it was closed and there was no access to the parking lot. We didn't stay overnight. Left after about 15 minutes.

Beautiful campground, lots of trails nearby, great dark sky.

Site 30 has some shade (many sites do not). It's in the middle as in not along the river or along the cliff/hill. During my stay, the sites that were within clear view of mine were empty, so it felt pretty private. It's a very short walk to the bathrooms which have flush toilets/running water, which was very convenient and there really wasn't any noise, so I liked the close proximity. You can walk to the river and along the river, although it was a bit overgrown when I was there. All in all, it was a nice stay.

Beautiful setting. The roadwork leading to the campground was conducted carefully and was thoughtfully executed.

Great place to hang out with a spectacular view. Very close to all of the attractions. Very friendly camp hosts.

The campground is not very well maintained. All of the vegetation is overgrown, the restroom is cleaned once a week and the campsites are infested with ants. The road through the campground is one way but half the pull through sites put your RV door on the street side. Positives are available water, flush toilet and pretty quiet.

The picnic table seat on one side was damaged, about to fall off. And the picnic table was disgustingly filthy.

This is a very nice campground and our site was excellent, one of the best we have stayed at. Our class B van (which is just under 20 fit long) fit into the parking space, behind which is a short path to the very private picnic table area, then a short walk down to a very small and private beach on the river. It is a beautiful location! The bathrooms were fine and of course the location is great as a base to visit the various dinosaur exhibits, trails etc.

We found the campground delightful...until the group in several RVs pulled up and ran their generators past quiet time. We were staying in a tent and to say the noise and fumes were disruptive is an understatement. I wouldn't stay here again on a weekend and will look more closely for tent-only campgrounds. Lovely site, though.

We love Green River RV camp. The scenery the solitude. I highly recommend this campground.
@PaulaH4688450 · Camped on Sep 4, 2025 at Campsite #16
Decent size sites so dont feel like on top of your neighbors. Not much shade in loop A but most sites have at least 1 large tree that helps. Easy access to bathrooms and water from A16. No fires due to fire restrictions so plan ahead for cooking. Only wish they had a tent only section to avoid generator noise. It wasnt bad an people were really good about quiet hours

Cute campground along the river. Good access to the quarry center. You must see the quarry, its incredible. Also some petroglyphs nearby at the sweltering shelter that are worth seeing

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
