Hike along Green River from campground was a good workout and dog friendly!

Cute campground along the river. Good access to the quarry center. You must see the quarry, its incredible. Also some petroglyphs nearby at the sweltering shelter that are worth seeing

Hosts were welcoming and very helpful. We had plenty of spots to choose from but ended up reserving a spot online near the river, happy we did so. Bathrooms were cleaned, campground was well kept and quiet. Small campground with few spots suitable for larger rigs. Not a whole lot of privacy, but I don't particularly mind neighbors I can see/hear.

Everything was in good orderly condition. I did have to walk the campgrounds to find a tent pad that wasnt covered in ants.

Spacious campsite, # 50B, with sun and shade, plus an incredible view of Split Mountain. Close to trails and exhibits, including a must see "Wall of Dinosaur Bones". Echo Park was fab, but check with Rangers on road conditions. $$$$ to get towed out of there. Even went for a swim in the Green River to cool off. Fun place, far exceeded my expectations.

Great site, great hosts. As with other NPS campsites, facilities are tired, and we know why. Staff and volunteers are doing an amazing job of holding it together.

Very nice campground. Next to the river with shade in several of the campsites. It is hard to tell which sites have shade from the pictures.

Exactly what it looks like, good for inexperienced campers or simply people who like their amenities, but not for you if you want a more private experience. The nearby quarry exhibit hall and cub creek petroglyphs were lovely.

Green River is a beautiful campground. We reserved a larger site on the river, which like most had minimal shade but offered excellent night sky viewing and abundant hummingbirds by day. Highlights were the petroglyphs and quarry wall. Campground facilities were rudimentary but adequate. We never saw a ranger in the campground itself.

Great campground & area! Perfect base for exploring Dinosaur Monument. We had a standard tent campsite with a nice table and fire pit. It was August, so no fires, and our sight had no shade while others do have nice trees. Bring umbrellas or something if you plan on being a the camp mid-day in summer. The men's bathroom was very nice & clean- better than many we've experienced. Overall, a great campground and great experience!

A great location to pitch up for a night or two. Great scenery, secure and safe spot with the added benefit of having a flushing toilet. As it is a Dark Sky Park the National Park Service was running different talks through out the evening, including a get to know the Dark Sky stargazing event that was incredible and run in the campground. Would highly recommend an stay again should I be in the area and looking for somewhere to stay!

Camp was clean and reserved when we arrived, back from the road a little ways. We were a site 10 which was at the far end of the loop.Two things though, at that particular site there is a small trial that leads to the river to a secluded beach.. Before we got there a number of people (6) had decided to picnic and fish down there unbeknownst to us . We had set up camp and all of sudden had people walking through our campsite.They had taken quite a few items down and had to do a couple of trips . We wanted to check out the park after we set up camp but were apprehensive after that . We did but pretty much packed up and just left the tents while we were gone. The bathrooms were clean overall and there was water . Campground was full but did not experience any noisy generators or loud people. Would camp at this campground again but maybe in a different spot.

Very pretty campground and this site was very nice. Lots of shade and space. Perfect to pitch a tent. Bathrooms are super close but they were never noisy. Not close to the river but you can still hear it.

We were only there for a night but cannot wait to go back to spend more days there to explore the trails. The campsite is very nice with the most beautiful views no matter which site you camp in. Highly recommend staying for a clean campsite and exploring the outdoors!

Nice place. Unfortunately no fire due to wildfire restrictions (We understand and agree). Wonderful sky during night. We will return

We have a 10x20" tent for our family, so I avoided the sites that specified "small tent" in their descriptions. The one we ended up with could have accommodated our tent in two different spots, I think. At any rate there was plenty of room. We got there late enough that my husband was setting up with the assistance of the car headlights plus a headlamp that was swarmed by mosquitos and other small insects - but this is by the river, so O well. We just made sure to keep lights off inside the tent until everything was zipped up. Our spot was also only two spots away from the bathrooms, which were clean enough by camping standards and also provided water sources for drinking and washing up.If anyone actually reads these reviews... a note to the conscientious: there are instructions about washing dishes. You're supposed to get water at the tap and then take it back to your site to wash up, and then strain it and throw the solids into the big bins before pouring the grey water into the drain at the foot of the tap. I had no idea and hadn't brought an extra container with me, so I just had to strain my dishwater through a thin towel (NOT a paper towel) right over the drain grate. At least no one else was wanting to wash up just then.The hike along the Green River is fun. We only went a little way because we had lots of short legs and were anxious to get off to the dinosaur fossils, but it was good to explore.

Campground was clean and the sites were easy in and out. The bathrooms were clean but needed some repairs. Some shade would have been greatly appreciated.

Sites are spacious and flat. Super quiet and well maintained. On site hosts are taking good care of this CG. Scenic location. Its along the river but the river is not generally visible from campsites. Its quite a drive to get to so come well supplied. Wed enjoy returning in cooler weather.

Beautiful views, large private site with river access

Very clean restroom for camping. Sites are fairly close together so you will hear other campers. #24 is fairly shady most of the day but will get hot in summer. Camp host is friendly and helpful. Be sure to get all supplies before entering campground because nearest market is over 20 minutes outside park.

Lovely setting by the Green River with a nice flat pitch for a tent and clean restroom block nearby. I would rate it higher but the intrusive use of industrial size generators by a couple of trailers really meant it was not a pleasant place to spend time. OK they mostly kept to the rules about time - but that's to 9.00pm. Hardly a good vibe to relax and eat to. Then 7.00 am they are on again.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
