This campsite was mostly shady with easy access to the restrooms and water. The many cottonwood trees were filled with birds. Views of the river are just steps away.

Very nice Place with a lot of shadow. The Trail starts directly behind the park

Camp host was fabulous. Spot was clean and level. Plenty of room. Spot 30 is a corner spot but it was mostly private and shaded. Quiet. The paths to the river were not far.

This was our second stay at Green River Campground in Dinosaur National Monument. Appreciate the mix of FC/FS and reservation sites. Nice big spaces, many with shade. Beautiful scenery and easy river access. We loved it.

Beautiful campground. Bathrooms need a lot more attention.

Nice campground. Only issue was campground’s host was not very visible. Generators were running at 7 am on the campsite across from us.

We stayed 3 nights at the Green River campground. The sites were clean and reservations clearly marked. The neighbors change nightly since there is a limited amount to see and do in this park. You can experience all the major attractions in one day, including a rafting trip. It’s recommended to use a vehicle capable of off-road driving on most of the roads. The main road is accessible by passenger cars. Still an amazing experience. I would like to see the restrooms in the campground updated. It looks like it’s been awhile and they need some attention.

Nice campground, although the sites are kind of too close. We also happened to visit when the queen ants were doing their “nuptial fights” and there were ants everywhere we could possibly stake our tent. The bathroom is really small - two stalls is good, but one sink is not enough and when the door is open, impedes on the space to get into the stalls. It was great having the water fountain and spigot though!

The campsite is nice and a great location. It is close to the water. The squirrels/chipmunks are super aggressive. One came up and took food from my toddler son's hand and at another two sites they got into people's cars. We always several at meal time that showed no fear to jumping up on the picnic tables.
