Bathrooms in poor condition, one of ladies had no lightbulb, the other had a bat resident. 0ne of men's closed for season, the other no lock on the stall.

Not a major issue, but none of the lakeside spots are actually on the lake or can really even see the water.

Fabulous hiking - water falls - hot springs - late afternoon thunderstorms - picture perfect days. We love it here. We did have to change campsites as the description wasnt accurate and our 21 camper was impossible to park in the spot. Luckily we were there on a Monday/Tuesday and had options .We love our public lands and appreciate all the forest service offers.We will fight to keep our parks open for all.

Excellent customer service.

Parking is very tight for a trailer. There is a tree in the way for most slide outs. Site is very close to others and trail around lake. Very little privacy.

My first trip up to Paulina with a boat, what a great campground and boat ramp! Everything was clean, and easy to use, the ranger at the visitor center across the road was friendly and helpful. The lodge facility had plenty of tackle and advice. This is what it's all about. Support our public lands and parks!!!

Had a great time, lovely campground and area. Clearly marked trails and mostly well maintained grounds. One toilet was out of order during our time there, which would have been very frustrating if it had been a peak day, but luckily, we camped during the weekday and the inconvenience was minimal. Would stay again.

Nowhere to get firewood and no showers available at all. The bathroom stall had no locks. Sinks were broken. The campground host wasnt there the entire time we camped. The grounds were nice and kinda quiet during the week. Probably wouldnt stay again unless there were fixes to the issues and added showers.

Well kept campground and what a beautiful lake.

FUN ACTIVITIES ON THE LAKE, BUT THE MOSQUITOS AND OTHER BUGS WERE TOO MUCH.

Campsites need better grooming of tree branches to accommodate RV's, truck campers and boats. I had several tree branches scratch the side of my truck camper and boat. I was in the process of trimming only those branches that were contacting my truck camper and boat when the camp host threated to kick me out of the campground for "destroying the tree". The pull-through sites need better grooming of those tree branches that are encroaching on the pull-through lanes to eliminate costly damage to RV's, truck campers and boats OR allow the camper to selectively remove ONLY those branches that would do damage with the supervision of the camp host.

The restrooms were not cleaned our 2 days we were there. The fish cleaning cabin was absolutely gross

Campsite was on the road next to the boat ramp. At about 4 AM the big diesel trucks come in and put the boats in until around 7. The noisy trucks and talking of the fisherman wake you up. Additionally, people left trash in the fire pits. The lake and area surrounding the campsite are beautiful despite the camping experience.

A favorite place for the fam for over 60 years.

The campsite was clean and attractive and well maintained.
@DustinW7790008 · Camped on Jun 18, 2025 at Campsite #7
Campground was clean, sites were good sized, and the area is beautiful! There is no lake access for swimming.
@AliceW7260330 · Camped on Jun 16, 2025 at Campsite #47
Its a beautiful place, poorly maintained. The bathrooms were filthy, and often out of toilet paper. The quiet hours were not observed by the boaters at the boat ramp, and every day cars and trailers without handicapped permits were parked all day in handicapped parking spots. Many campsites completely ignored safe campfire practices, and brought their own wood in. Overall a disgraceful neglect of a treasure.

It took a long time to find our site because the signage in the campground...well...there isn't any. Once we got to our site and were set up, a large group came and took 4 sites around us. It quickly became clear they were they to party and the noise and disturbance started immediately. Since it was the last weekend of the season, the campground seemed pretty sparsely reserved and, thankfully, the host allowed us to move. The host was far and away the best part of the campground. Signage and maps were inadequate. Facilities were in need of maintenance and repair, especially some fresh paint in the restrooms. There was little in the way of directional signage for traffic. Honestly, we've seen much better.

The destination was very nice and theres much to do in the area. Our stay was cut short by forest fire smoke, though the campground itself was not threatened by the fire. Camp hosts were very helpful.

The campground is really nice and clean

Terrific location for our family with kids. Spacious camp spots large enough for multiple tents ( or a large one.. we used our 14x16 canvas wall tent) and parking spacers we very large as well. My wife enjoyed having actual flush toilets and lighting in the bathrooms.*our only negative was the fact the bathrooms were not stocked with soap or paper towels. :(

Camp hosts were very friendly and welcomed us upon arrival. Made recommendations for sites to see in the area. Bathroom facilities were very clean. Will visit again in the future. We had a wonderful trip.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
