I loved the smell of pine trees, the beautiful sunset on the reservoir, and the clean campground.

We managed to get our 40 foot class A RV into site number 1. The site was decent. But the road to the campground is atrocious. I should not have attempted it even though I was successful. It is very narrow and potholes are unavoidable. Like driving through an earthquake. The drive popped out our windshield. Branches scratched the side of the coach in many places. It was not a wise stop for us. The scenery and the river we were beside were stunning. But the drive in and out was horrible. If they would just grate the 2.8 miles of gravel road three or four times a year it would make a huge difference.

Exceptionally clean and the sites are well spaced. The reservoir gets busy with motorized boat traffic racing in circles with screaming teens, which is unfortunate. Puts a damper on an otherwise excellent spot.

This camp is phenomenal- the camp hosts were incredible, and the nature is beautiful and diverse. The bathrooms were so super clean, smelled good and had hand sanitizer, the water from the spicket was clear and fresh, and the best ever was the lake and the docks. We swam daily- super clear water and a family friendly lake. We loved it- a bear walked by our camp, a huge beautiful grizzly, but we had no problem. Just bear proof your camp!

A beautiful campground next to Island Park Reservoir. The bathrooms on B loop have been recently remodeled and were immaculately clean. The campground was quiet and clean. Note that you are not allowed to ride ATV/UTVs in the campground but there is a good spot to park them right at the entrance near the camp host. We actually appreciate not having them in the campground. Made for a more relaxing, less dusty camping adventure.

Great campground! We had a double spot which proved plenty of space. Our spot was adjacent to the lake but hidden by trees providing privacy, shade and access to lake. Cleanest bathrooms I have seen for a non-flush toilet.

Beautiful shady campground. The toilets were clean and there is lots of space between the campsites. I would definitely go back!

We stayed at camp site 29. If you only looked towards the trees it was great. Lots of people driving on the road kicking up dust. sites are pull through so no cover from the people driving by. My sinus' were killing me by day 3. The lake is pretty loud but they are all having a good time. It looks like they are putting in new fire rings and a dutch oven table at all the sites and new bathrooms are being put in. The camp hosts were awesome! The site was clean and raked out when we showed up. We had a private path to the lake. If not for the dust from people constantly driving by I would have given it 5 stars.

The campsite was very clean. We had the camp host come by and apologize for that they hadnt been by to clean due to the person left late but wit was very nice. The camp hosts help accommodate family friends which came in. The porta pottys were extremely clean. They made our time very enjoyable.

When we got to our campsite it was very clean. But there was a very very strong smell of URINE where we were supposed to park our trailer. Our friends had come to check out our site before we got there and they said the same thing. They noticed it right away. We said something thing to the camp host and they just kind of shrugged it off like it wasnt a big deal. It was disgusting and disappointing. The hotter it got the worse the smell got and the flies were terrible right where the smell was. We had to spend the first hour of our camping trip trying to get rid of the urine smell. The picnic table is so coming half way out of the ground and was so tilted we couldnt use it. It is in need of desperate repair! And the bathrooms being under construction would have been nice to know before hand for those who were staying in tents and didnt have access to bathrooms in a rv. The porta potties were gross. We have stayed in this site before and loved it. That is why we chose to come back. Other than those few things it was great. We caught fish down on the docks and really enjoyed the time with family who also chose to stay in the campground. I feel like since we are paying more for a bigger site and had water and electricity at a premium rate, we should have had a better environment to host our family. We ended up spending most of our time at a much smaller site, because of the urine smell and not being able to use the table. We are planning another trip next summer with our family and are hoping for a great trip. But we might have to start choosing to boondock if the costs and fees keep increasing and there isnt improvement being done to the site.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
