We LOVE this park right on or close to the Buffalo River. For those who love to paddle in the river or fish perfect! Thank you for finally paving the entry road to all sections!!

Nice camp sites, easy to get to, clean restrooms and a great camp host! Rick was super personable and nice! We are planning on returning next year for a longer stay!

Quiet. Sweet little float right from the campground. Tidy, well organized.

The camp host was great! Very helpful, kept the bathrooms very clean, and was always available to answer any questions or pass on important information!

The campers across the road were incredibly rude, appointing themselves as the campground cops. Their yappy little mutt was also very annoying. The campground itself was very nice. Problem is, you can't control the morons around you.

I enjoyed my stay at Buffalo campground. Bruce was very nice. My complaint is that there was not any sanitizer for most of the visit in the bathrooms. They were out of order. How long can it take to fix or replace. Eventually they were.One recommendation is to put electricity into other loops. This would reduce the stress on C loop. It is hard to get into and is always very busy.

The bathrooms are very clean and well maintained ~ stocked. The camp hosts are friendly and pay attention to what is going on so that one group of campers isn't making things miserable for others. I look forward to staying at Buffalo again.

This is one of the nicer campgrounds we have used. The spacing of the mature trees makes it a shady and elegent forest scene with nearby water that is floatable by families. Proximity to other activities is awesome as well. Note that loop C is the only power and those spots are taken within hours of becoming available. Water is readily available and they seem good with filling up your trailer while in camp as long as your not annoying. Just south there is a great dump site about 4 miles away. We will be back.

It is always a pleasure to camp at Buffalo. The toilets are super clean, the sites are mostly well spaced-apart, and finding first-come first-served sites so far has been easy. The river there is a slow-flowing, relaxed float with the chance to see a beaver dam and occasional moose. The nearby Henrys Fork float is also great. Highway noise can be annoying in loops A and B, but it gets quieter in the farther loops. Tent campers especially appreciate the grey water dump basins and fresh water spigots in each loop. With Yellowstone only a half-hour away, Buffalo cant be beat.

Great place to stay. I wish they hadn't taken out the flush toilets and replaced them with pit toilets. But they keep them clean and they don't stink too bad. Camp host have always been friendly and easy to work with.

Safe and secluded. We felt comfortable leaving our property unattended during the day. The sights and nature were beautiful.

It was okay.

The Host was fantastic! We were going to have to move for a few extra nights to another loop and the host was very sweet and managed to help us find one in the same loop for the extra nights. B Loop was extremely clean, the restrooms were always cleaned and I noticed the host constantly cutting down weeds and maintaing the area. I love Island Park but I espically love to stay in the Buffalo campground. We floated down the Buffalo River every day and it was so relaxing!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
