Tule Campground in Tulare County is located just 14 min east of Porterville, CA with an elevation of 671 feet. There are a total of 101 campsites. The campground is open all year. 98 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 80 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 24 sites have electric and water hookups. 74 sites have water hookups. Fees range from $20.00 to $30.00. Some amenities include shower, boat ramp, swimming, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, floating sports.

Very satisfied with everything that this facility had to offer. All of the camp sites were very clean and easily accessible. Camp host was very friendly and helpful.We are making this our regular go to campground. Its not far from where we live and I have relatives in the area

Constant electrical problems at powered sites. Rest rooms are filthy, trash in rest rooms. Porta Pottys overflowing. Trash containers overflowing, trash on ground. This is not a random problem, weve been coming here for years and its always like this. We can hear the campers complaining loudly at the ladies at the check in office. They are polite and apologize. If this place were run by the private sector heads would roll, but since its public sector nobody is accountable!

This campground could be so much nicer if the US Army Corp would take care of it. Grass needed to be mowed super long and dry. There was so many thorns and fox tails. Definitely not dog friendly.

Nice, level and spacious spots with the beautiful lake and mountain backdrop. Friendly staff. Enjoyed visiting Springville on our way into and back out of the mountains nearby - and the nearby golf club was a plus. Dissapointing to have trash and cigarette butts on our site when arriving. By the end of the weekend, nearby dumpsters were overflowing with piles of trash dropped around the dumpster - staff never put a sign up to tell campers to use the empty dumpster on the other side of the park that was empty.

Many people out on Spring break, but it still was a great place to camp. Nice flat spots that are easy to back into, lots of grass for dogs to enjoy. There was even a pick-up soccer match while we were there. The showers have great pressure and plenty of hot water, and no need for quarters to make it run. A great experience!

This location is my spring time favorite for the area. The sites are very large and give ample space between sites. We use this location for cycling around the Tule river and Deer creek drainages. This also includes Frazier valley and the Yokul Valley outside of Exeter. Great services near by at the reservation filling station, Porterville and Springville. A real diamond when the wild flowers are out.

Campsites were clean with some trees for some shade. Some with picnic tables and gazebo like structure. Bathrooms were clean. Overall very good and I would recommend and go again.

Great wide open spaces

T-Island can be noisy. Occupants of six campsites gathered to have a DJ and Karaoke noise until midnight on Saturday night. Park officials did not enforce the 10pm quiet rule, I hear they routinely ignore noise complaints. Children trying to sleep at normal times were unable. Grounds are littered with trash, not obscene but I spent an hour picking up small trash in my surrounding area upon arrival. Management & security are not holding up their responsibility and seem to only enforce rules when convenient. Otherwise nice, pretty park.

Nice campground. Had a campsite with electric and water. The dump station was easily accessible and clean. It was a bit of a party campground over the holiday weekend we stayed. The group next to us had music going well past midnight. Otherwise, easy to access and made for a nice stop while heading further south.
