Had planned a one day one night stay for a weekend of fishing and camping with friends. It was an overall good experience. We all enjoyed our campsite and the fishing. We would definitely stay again.

It wasnt very crowded when we were there. So it was nice and quiet. The one downside was making the reservation. We had to drive a few miles down the road to get cell service in order to book our site. Clean bathrooms. Nice setting. The road is close, but since it doesnt get a lot of nighttime traffic, it wasnt an issue.

Very pretty area. Campground was fairly clean. Areas around river had lots of litter. Your mommy wasnt here. Pick up your trash. The road back to the campground was narrow, rough with lots of curves. Pit toilets with no TP. Old and new buildings so not sure if it was being maintained. Reserved a site but sign said open. Nobody else in campground so needlessly paid online reservation fee.

As usual Restrooms were out of service again, along with the showers.Porta-Potty were filled to the top and disgusting. Asked to get them cleaned and were told they would be cleaned at the scheduled date. This has been a continuing problem for the last two years.

No bathrooms or showers were open for duration of stay.

Arrived on a Monday was told no water. Previously about a month no electricity during the day.

Great environment with the lake to enjoy. Due to the large volume of campsites being used, Restrooms should be inspected and cleaned more often.

The campground was clean and frequently inspected by the Ranger. We appreciated the security. There was a group across from us that let their gray water out of their camper daily and it ran over into our site. They also let their 3 dogs loose each afternoon. Some shade, we lucked out with a good eucalyptus tree in site 57. Restrooms were kept very clean. Nice quiet campground but wouldn't recommend in summer....very hot. But that's not their fault. We left a day early and someone refunded our non-attended day. We really appreciated that!

It was very hot so I did not do much while there. The lake was low on water, which is probably normal for this time of the year and do that and the heat I did not try to fish.

The Northside of the campground is much greener than the Southside, because it has a springer system, the Southside doesn't. Restrooms and showers were very clean. The Park personnel are very nice and not too nosey. I like that very much. I hate it when I feel I'm being watch. We had a nice time.

We arrived after the office was closed, so we might have missed a bit.But the campground was flat and had a lot of waterpoints which was nice. But you could feel that this location has a problem with unwanted visitors and therefore no "normal" guests. We were also warned by others about the homeless problem. Also the ground was so dry it was almost impossible to stick a peg good in the ground.Most of the showers/toilets were locked, so you couldn't use them and the rest wasn't is the best shape they have ever been in.Being next to the 190 and been told about a homeless/theft problem doesn't give you the best night although the bay/beach area was quiet.

Excellent place if you rate looking for some quiet place without anyone bothering you. But close enough to the city you can get anything you want. Not a place for swimming. There are no designated swimming shores. But if you are willing to rent a boat from the marina it is worth it. Bathrooms were clean and everything was easily accessible. I will be back for sure!!!

I liked the Tule place, the bathrooms and the camping area were very clean. I didn't go into the lake because there were a lot of people on the weekend and instead I took advantage of it to relax. I liked that there is a lot of security and the park rangers did activities such as safety talks and a movie night with drinks, gifts and free popcorn.

We had several campsites booked for our group, Several days before arrival, I received an email of cancellation of one of our reserved campsite without explanation. Once on site we were told of unsafe condition at campsite #32. No offer to rebook another site- welcome to the age of computer Bots! BEWARE -Puncture vine stickers throughout the campground.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
