Nice place to camp and visit the area. Right on lake and peaceful. Recommend

My campsite was covered in cigarette butts, bottle caps and plastic lids. The grass is full of stickers and weeds. The site was so ridiculously slanted I had to go to Lowes and get some blocks to get it level. The entrance to the Sequoia from here is closed. You have to travel about an hour and half to get to the entrance of the park. Nice location, but they can do better. Much room for improvement.

Site was very uneven. Not able to level class A motorhome. Never saw a Ranger or camp host. Prior visit water pressure dropped to zero. No notification by rangers or camp host. They never came around. I had a 3 day reservation and had to leave after 2 days because of that. Grass is all dried up and would be a sever fire hazard. Fox tails are abundant. Could only let our dog on the gravel they were so bad and still had to pick them off of him after he went outside. Site was filthy. Trash from many prior visits. Bottle caps, cigarette butts, old napkins, chicken bones etc. Check out Vs check in time delay is not being utilized. Very disappointing.

Site 29. Staff was very friendly. Site was damn near impossible to level the trailer. Trash and cigarette butts all over the site.
The campground was quiet and not crowded on a weeknight and the view of the lake and sunset were awesome. Probably would not stay here again.
