Hidden View Campground in Madera County is located just 28 min northeast of Madera, CA with an elevation of 536 feet. There are a total of 54 campsites including 11 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 43 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 25 and 90 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 15 sites have electric and water hookups. 7 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $20.00 to $100.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include biking, horseback riding, hiking trails.
ALERT: Hidden View Campground Entrance Gate is now operational. It will automatically close at 10PM and reopen at 6AM. To leave the campground, approach the gate slowly and it will open. It will NOT reopen until 6AM. If you arrive after close or leave/return before 6AM, you are to park in the boat parking lot and wait until the gate reopens.
The Hidden View Campground gate is operational. The gate automatically closes at 10 pm and reopens at 6 am. Between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am, you may exit the campground, but you cannot reenter. There are no gate codes. All campers must be on site before the gate closes at 10 pm. Late arriving campers can park in the boat ramp parking lot.

We love to come here to this campsite, nice, quite and peaceful, whats most important about this campsite are the bathrooms and the showers very clean and you will see the gentle men that comes around and cleans them very nicely done and since weve been coming here theres always toilet paper LOL but other than than youll also see the Rangers making their rounds stopping and talking to us making sure everything is okay, oh and activities there hasnt been a time that there always something going on around the camp site activities and social time ,, our place to be I thank everyone for keeping this campsite beautiful and clean ..

Its a very nice campground with a playground for kids. The lake level was low when I stayed here with my son. Either way there is access to the water and nice trails to hike. The facilities are nice and free showers are included. The campsites are mostly exposed so plan to set up some sort of shade. Overall a very nice experience and not too far from town.

Nice long camp sites. Clean everywhere. Water is very warm.This is a irrigation lake so late in the summer there some unmarked rocks in the lake. Rangers are personable.

It was very hot there but that was our fault for camping in summer. Had some nice tree shade in our site in the afternoon. The Ranger was very nice and patrolled frequently. Generally quiet campground except on weekends. The lake was nice for kayaking. Easy access to the boat ramp. Restrooms were generally clean, except on weekends. I think this would be a nicer place to camp in cooler weather during the week.

I stayed here on a Friday night and Its so loud here people party until 4 AM and its not cool. Other than that, the site is cool. I wish you can park next to the site but you have to walk a few steps to get down to you site. The site has a water spigot, cover, table, and grill. Also, near bathroom and shower (included). The water level is about lower than the site, about 0.05 miles down a slope.

We had a pleasure of trying this campsite ! The restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Hot water was available for showers which was great! The campsite was clean and had a great view. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and informative. All other campers were respectful and followed rules. Definitely will be going back !

Well we took a chance and drove up and booked right on the spot. Was a good spot #38. Only thing that was missing was the water pipe was to far away from RV. Next time we will take a longer hose. But other than that it was pretty good.

We spend four days at Site 14 it was very nice. The rangers were friendly. We witnessed some bald eagle action very exciting.
