Most of the campsites here are practically in someones backyard so theres no privacy at all. If you camp here pray that the house you are by is quiet mine decided to have a karaoke night until 2 am lol

If the most important aspect of a campsite is how close you are to the bathroom, you can't get better than this site. The bathroom is essentially IN your campsite. Luckily it didn't stink during our visit, and the camp host was super friendly and helpful. It's a pretty short walk to the tiny beach associated with the campground. After getting over the bathroom situation it wasn't that bad, tons of kids at this site so it can get loud/rowdy at times.

We were lucky enough to get a four night stay in July, and it was fantastic! Its our new favorite place somewhat close to our home. We especially loved the close proximity to the beach and the bike path to Tahoe City and down the Truckee river. There is so much to see and do at Tahoe, nobody should be disappointed !

Great campground with beautiful pine trees. Close to all amenities but feels removed.

Dont choose site 57. There is a bathroom right next to the campsite. Its not labeled on the campground map, but it stinks and people will be coming into your campground to use it. Also it says 2 cars allowed per campground but unless you have two small cars its very difficult to fit both since you cant park on the dirt. Male campground host was friendly and helpful. The female host was not so friendly and was rude. Beach by the campground is very small and there are a lot of boats. It was an okay experience overall but I wouldnt camp here again. Plenty of nicer campgrounds in Tahoe

We stayed at site 23. The campground itself is well maintained with sites and clean bathrooms. Just be aware that the campground is located within a somewhat commercialized area of Lake Tahoe. It didnt have that wilderness and natural feel. The campground is surrounded by cabins. Its a nice short walk to the beach, but dont expect a white sandy beach, its a pebbly beach with a marina. Finally, bear is a regular visitor but that is fair to say for most campgrounds in Tahoe.

My wife and I stayed there for just one night, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in a yurt, had a campfire and walked across the highway to the Sunnyside for dinner and drinks. Will consider staying here again.

We had a good time with family at this campground. Staff was very nice and kept everything under control on a very busy holiday weekend.

Enjoyed our stay over July 4th weekend. Beach area is nice but very small. Stake your spot early in the day during busy weekends. Would like to see showers added to the facilities. Overall a good stay, will definitely return.

I was aware that there are no showers at this campsite, but I was told that showers are available at Meeks Bay Resort. However, when we asked the parking attendant, we were informed that only resort guests are allowed to use the shower facilities.

Campground is conveniently located near Tahoe City. The campground hosts are super friendly and they keep the campground well maintained.

Urban camping experience with a local black bear coming to campsites in search of food around dinner time. Please be vigilant with using bear lockers to deter this behavior. Clean restrooms, not much privacy, a little noisy.

Nice camp spot, great location. Near Tahoe City.

We enjoyed site #35 for how big it was and how removed it was from other campers. It was also close to the restrooms, which were clean enough. We did have houses behind us and kept getting visited by a dog who lived there, begging for food. That part was annoying. The park was quiet and the beach was small but very nice. There is a very nice general store across the street that has everything you may need, and more! My only negative comment is that the fire pit was full of ash and needed to be cleaned out as it was causing our fires at night to not burn well. I asked the camp host twice to attend to that but he kept saying it wasnt necessary so he never did it. I was unhappy with that poor level of customer service. Other than that, we had a very nice stay and will definitely go back. Lake Tahoe is gorgeous!

Clean campground, excellent host, close proximity to lake and Olympic valley.

Great location across from the lake, but not much retails store on the main 89 highway between campground and the lake. Campground has no reception, internet is 1 bar out of 4 bars.Locations does not has showers available. Make sure to have at least 150ft of water hose to fill up your fresh water tank. Dump station location as you enter, will cost you $10 bucks. Extra car will be $10 per night. Sites are paved but 90% of them you can only park one car. Reverse too far back with your tires on dirts will get you a warning on your windshield. The Host male are nice, the female, from my experience is a whole other story. Hope this helps, have fun and enjoy the lake.

Hosts were very respectful and answered all questions. Site was clean, well maintained with bathrooms in decent shape, no smell and easily within walking distance. Beautiful trees all around and the area wasnt too busy. This was our second trip to this camp ground and both times we enjoyed our time there.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
