Our site was up against someones backyard. Which pretty much felt like we were sleeping in our own backyard. The sun was directly over us until 5ish pm during the heat wave. We escaped to an overcrowded beach full of rocks. Finally, camp host in site 1 is a complete jerk. A useless, grumpy employee that should find a job he actually likes. I am glad we checked it off our list, but it will definitely be our last time there.

Very nice campground just across the road and up a moderate hill from the Lake. Be advised that many of the campsites are limited in size so if you have both a vehicle and a trailer or RV, you may have to park your vehicle at the dirt lot near the entrance and walk up to your campsite. Strict rules that no tires can be off the pavement of each sites' spur. Bathrooms convenient and clean. Fire pits and picnic tables provided. We enjoyed and plan to return.

Great little campground in Tahoe. Our site did back up to a neighborhood, but the occupants of the home were great. If you are looking for a secluded spot, away from it all, this is not that place. If you are looking for a relatively quite place to take the family to get away for a couple days, this is the spot. My kids have already asked when we can go back?

I stayed at this campsite for three nights, and it as always very clean. It is across the street from lake access and a general store which I found very fun and convenient. All of the camp hosts I interacted with were always kind and helpful.

We got spot 45,46 and 47 all the spot were big and spacious lots of room for more than just three tents lots of trees if you don’t like the sun but enough open air to see the start and get some sun in the morning, would def get this spot again if you wish to explore the north of Lake Tahoe don’t get it if your trying to stay near emerald bay or South Lake Tahoe it’s around 45 mins or farther
