This was a lovely little campground. Very quiet, hosts were very nice, saw a few deer. Campsites are nice, not too close together, with tables and fire rings. Most are on the smaller side. I was able to keep trailer hitched to my truck, total length about 37', but there are only a few sites that could accommodate this. Didn't explore the trails, as I was only there for one night, but would stay there again.

The camp host met us upon arrival and offered us a better more accessible site than what we had reserved. This was greatly appreciated. The site was level and long enough for our toy hauler. The campground was clean. The host came around several times throughout the week to see if we needed anything. We had chosen this campground for its access to OHV riding. The only issue was being there over the 4th of July, people were shooting off fireworks inside the campground and per the Black Hills FS website, that is an illegal activity. But due to the remoteness, there is no law enforcement around. During our stay it rained for 2 days and yet our site did not show any signs of damage due to runoff.Upon departure, we had to drive around the full FF loop and the road was wide enough and tree limbs trimmed so our trailer did not scape or "fill" the road unlike some other national forest campgrounds. Should we return to the area, I would consider staying there again.

KNOWN Basic OFF-GRID Camping - No Facilities. Require Electric & Water to get 4 or 5 stars.

Quite camp site, surrounded with Ponderosa pines.Can get cold in summers nights. They have city water around campgrounds with yard hydrants. Pressure to fill your tanks is poor, but water is good and tested regularly.

Close to Devils Tower where we were the first into the parking lot at sunrise. Water location is inconvenient unless lucky enough to be in a few accessible camp sites. Lots of surrounding deer. Campground initially midweek with only a couple of campers was quiet until the weekend. Campground started filling Friday afternoon, (assuming locals?), unruly kids until late. Kids then had us awake by 5AM. No discipline. Fortunately we were planning on moving on anyways.

The campsite and bathrooms were very clean thanks to campground hosts. We were very unhappy with the ALL NIGHT LONG logging operation uphill from the campsite. Logging trucks and Jake-brakes going around campground all night long. A time limit should be implemented on logging contracts to stop this noise near campgrounds.

We were closer to the road than I expected, but I loved being in the trees. I will definitely go back.

I enjoyed our stay here so much! Its a small campground but with lots of space between sitesand trees galore. Many of the sites are not level.. but we lucked out. Our 40 foot motorhome fit well in Site #1.

Close enough to Sundance for resupply. Great trail system with a spur from the campground. Easy day trip to Devil's Tower.

Very nice campground just west of Sundance, WY. Walking trails nearby. Located halfway between Devils Tower and the Blackhills.

This campground is easy access and beautifully kept. Mine was the last one and perfectly located for my needs. The second night however, there was such a downpour that my parking completely flooded so I conceded to getting a motel room instead.

Quiet small campground. Camp host was helpful and professional. Potable water was available pit toilets were clean. We stayed 5 nights in site #6 which was unlevel but manageable. Overall nice campground.

Everyone with the damn generators make camping nearly pointless.

Beautiful, clean. We enjoyed our stay. We used this as home base to visit Jewel Cave, Devil's Tower and Mt Rushmore.

The host was great! The grounds are very unkept. Is a very primitive unkept sight! The sights are not anywhere close to level, in fact we had to ask for another site due to the site assigned to us was a hump with rocks on it. The weather was great and saw a few deer.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
