Outlet Area in Yell County is located 1 hr 14 min east of Fort Smith, AR with an elevation of 469 feet. There are a total of 38 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 26 and 72 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $40.00. Some amenities include shower, playground, swimming. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

We absolutely love this place. It's the only place we camp. It would be nice if the camp grounds were mowed more often.

While camping at Outlet campground our experience was not very good. Lake was to full of water so they were draining water, the water being drained was very stinkey. Couldn't fish or swim. This was difficult. Took bikes but not much space to ride. No trails to hike. Since we have kids there was not much for them to do so they fought the whole time. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The campground was clean and well maintained.

No place for a tent. Not level. Poorly designed or no design. Cant walk to the other loop.

It would be really nice if they would MOW. We always camp on Memorial Day weekend and you would think they would mow on a major holiday. The kids get eaten up with chiggers and such with the grass knee deep. Also they need to do some upgrading on their electrical outlets. Our camper is constantly throwing the breaker on a 30 amp site.

Very level spot. Easily big enough for 40ft 5th wheel and truck. Electric and water worked well.

The site was pull thru but easy to get in and out. 30 amp only which made it a little difficult with the hot weather.

Beautiful park but the campsite we stayed at was less than ideal. It was listed as tent camping but didnt have room for even 1 tent. It was 04 on the outlet side and we ended up pitching our tent across from the site.

Great little camp! Had 3:58 of eclipse time and the fishing was good. Great camp hosts. Camp is close to two miles past the gate and there were some great views befor going back down to the outlet

Came here for a weekend trip during the 2024 eclipse. I was truly blown away by how beautiful the camp was! Our campsite was incredible, with plenty of space for our tents, a picnic table with a shelter and a fire pit. The stream was so much fun to go sit by in the mornings, and the lake was a short (very pretty) drive down the mountain. Everyone else at the campground was so kind. The location can't get any better with a BEAUTIFUL 30 min drive to both Mt. Nebo and Mt. Magazine state parks. I'll definitely camp here again!!

Facility is well maintained. Especially enjoyed heaters in the shower area during winter. The place is a hidden gem.

The campground was amazing. Day trip activities include Mt Magazine, Pridgen Family Brewery, Arkansas Brewery all within an hour and a half from camp

Dead trees in the park, grass needs cut-nearly knee high, bathrooms were disgustingly dirty, and empty campsites dirty with trash and debris.
