Shoal Bay Campground in Logan County is located 1 hr 17 min east of Fort Smith, AR with an elevation of 356 feet. There are a total of 79 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of March to the end of October. 77 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 21 and 82 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 57 sites have electric and water hookups. 22 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $16.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, boat ramp, swimming. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

The park was clean and all areas were easily accessible. The park attendants were extremely helpful and took care of us! Ellen was so pleasant and accommodating! She was fantastic and checked in on us each day!! Chris (park ranger) was exceptionally helpful and took care of anything we needed. Everyone that worked at the park went above and beyond expectations!! Thanks bunches for a great stay and well definitely be returning! D. Dollar

Beautiful site. We stayed 3 nights, Thursday to Sunday. It was so peaceful and quiet, until Saturday, when the neighbors gutted fish under a tent they placed between our site and B 9. It stank and the flies later that night and Sunday morning were terrible. From now on we will only go during the week to avoid the weekenders. Loved the site, just not the neighbors.

Campground was great, please open the fish cleaning station, it is not good to clean fish in your camping spot, do not understand why it was locked up

Beautifully kept park one of the best stays we have had very clean shower and restrooms. The park attendants were excellent and care about the appearance of the park. Well be coming back for many years to come.

We camped here on the last weekend of Spring Break. One campsite was having a huge party/concert and the police was called over 3 times by people. Lots of campers loaded up and left the campground. It ruined our weekend and I think we should be given our money back. Usually we love Shoal bay but it will be a long while before we camp here again.

This is our home away from home. We live about 30 minutes away and going to shoal bay is one of our favorite campsites anywhere. The host is over the top nice.

We always love Shoal Bay. We rented the pavilion for a surprise birthday party and it worked out perfectly. B7 was a nice spot except there was a tree in the way where we couldnt let the awning on our camper out.

It is so peaceful here!!! Camp hosts are always very friendly and helpful! The restrooms and campgrounds are so clean!

Accommodating Host, was able to get a site to accommodate Starlink signal. Beautiful Lake and tree covered campground.Since we had hookups didnt need to be concerned about solar.

This is one of my favorite parks to stay at. The campground is so clean and Ellen, the campground host, is always driving around checking on everyone. Super nice lady!

We had a great time at this campground. There is a trail on site, it has a natural rock bridge formation. The bathrooms were clean and pretty new. I think any nature lover would love this location.

Everything was great, except the grass was 10 inches high throughout the camping area. We were in P area and had 7 campsites total.

We had reservations for four nights at Shoal Bay but due to a medical problem we had to leave after the first night. On the way out the manager of the property said we should get with Recreation. Gov to see about a partial refund. To our surprise a full refund for the remaining nights was credited back to our account the next day. We never called, so we assumed it was the manager that made the request. The campground was in excellent condition and very well maintained. We will definitely be back.

Camp hosts are excellent, bath houses are kept clean and stocked, overall park is clean. Pads, picnic tables, fire rings are in great shape. Please repair the light on the southern most boat ramp.
