Love this campground. Small but great park. 2nd bathroom much newer. Host very helpful.

Campsite 20 is excellent for a couple of tents! Close to the creek and to the trailhead. The road near the camp can be a bit noisy. Since there isnt a gate at the front there was a constant stream to cars coming through at all hours.

Hot Springs is the perfect mixture of history, the outdoors, good food, and fun things to do! Trails are well-marked. The campground is small and in beautiful surroundings with modern hookups and restrooms. Although there is only one shower per gender, there are several restrooms. I never had to wait long for a shower since full hookups had many campers using their RVs.

Beautiful campground! Full hookups and absolutely no issues. Quiet and lovely, large sites. It was PERFECT for access to hot springs- we hiked right from camp up Gullah gorge trail all the way into hot springs. Would 100% stay here again.

Scenic campground and close to bathhouse row. Spots were very close and a bit of a challenge for bigger rigs.

Sites are best for RVs and campers, but okay for tents at a squeeze. Close together, too, so not much privacy. Great location with easy access to trail system and quick drive to all parts of town. Creek is fun for wading and nice burbling at night. Its clear the campground is underfunded or understaffed; the greeting center has no personnel and no information stocked. Dont know if always so or due to recent cuts, but needs improvement. Reservation checker was personable regardless!Nice to have a shower for reservation holders!

Lovely camp site in gorge located along a clear stream offering plenty of places to cool. Clean well maintained facilities. Great trails (although some steep) including walking access to Hot Springs and some great scenic outlooks.

Amazing campsite by the creek. We loved being able to hike to Bathhouse Row.

Nice quiet campground on a stream. It was an easy drive to Hot Springs, Garvan Wonderland Gardens. We would definitely stay again.

Friendly helpful check-in. Site 23 backs up to Gulpha Creek on a pie-shaped site with bushes between the next site on the passenger side for privacy. We needed to level by raising front and driver side rear. Lovely and peaceful, although you can sometimes hear traffic on the road going by (may have been trucks for storm damage repairs) Creek was high from recent storms so we could hear it babbling over the rocks. The rock path across the creek was under water but we were able to safely cross to the Gulpha Gorge trail with waterproof hikers. It is quite steep but if you are up for it this is a great hike right out of the campground up to Hot Springs Mountain trail.

This was the nicest national park campground I have ever stayed in. It not only has the beauty of staying in a National Park, but also has full RV hookups. We were right on the creek and it was beautiful.

We had the most fantastic time at Gulpha Gorge! The campsites were clean, well-organized, and nestled in such a beautiful setting. The bathrooms were a huge convenience, and the showers were a welcome bonus after long days exploring. I loved how close everything wastown, stores, and incredible trails were all just minutes away. It was the perfect balance of nature and convenience. We cant wait to come back!

Excellent park - lovely sites, some a bit close but not bad. Bathrooms were stellar.

We loved this beautiful campground. There are a few shortcomings: tight turns, trees that make it a bit difficult to park, but it was well worth it. Some sites back right up to the creek, and these require some blocks to level, but most of the others are fine. Restrooms require a code, and each one is self contained with sink, toilet and shower. We were here during a heavy rain storm so couldn't hike. Very shady. A 5-minute drive into the town of Hot Springs - be sure to visit the Bathhouse Row museum. Great German food at Steinhaus Keller.

Although there are flush toilets and sinks with running water, there is only one male shower and one female shower. There is no laundry and no dish washing sink. The camping spots are decent size and there is a dumpster for trash. We did see Park Rangers a few times while we were there.
@SharonM2145782 · Camped on Apr 4, 2025 at Campsite #42
There was no resident park manager there during a storm. We had just set up and was ask to evacuate.
@DonnaA34747750 · Camped on Apr 4, 2025 at Campsite #18
The campground was difficult to maneuver when you dont know where your site is and there is no one there to help you navigate. Our name was not on our reserved site so we were not even sure we were supposed to be there!Because of the storm during our stay, the visitor center was closed and there was no way for me to get my passport stamp. I wish they would have put a stand outside!

We stayed on site 23, March 30 and 31. The park is clean and well kept, quiet after hours. The bathrooms and showers, while limited, were very clean and well cared for. Comments were made about the main garbage bin being full; it was picked up that afternoon and the area cleaned up. We would go back again. This was our favorite out of two State Parks and this National Park. A creek runs through the back of site 23 adding to the ambiance. The hiking trail are super. Just a nice place to visit.
@SteveK1630665 · Camped on Mar 29, 2025 at Campsite #6
Nice full hook up sites with some very difficult to get into. Despite a full campground during spring break, there were no hosts or attendants on site and the only dumpster on site was overflowing. Steady stream of non-campers parking in campground to hike trails.
@KendraG2650622 · Camped on Mar 29, 2025 at Campsite #27
Loved the stream behind our campsite. Our spot was a bit small. Not an ideal place to set up our tent to have level ground and not be on our neighbors spot. We ended up setting up our tent on the asphalt. Wish there were more bathrooms.
@JustinC9419299 · Camped on Mar 26, 2025 at Campsite #26
Campsites are beautiful. Creek is right by the sites and is very nice and peaceful. Shower facilities are very nice. Super close to the national park with trails from the campsites that go into the park. Yes the sites are slightly not level but I think people exaggerate how unlevel they are. Just bring some blocks and you will be fine. Great experience and we will definitely come back!
@JamesW5759385 · Camped on Mar 26, 2025 at Campsite #22
Great campground!! Was within hiking distance to the Bathhouse area of Hot Springs. Nice sites. Leveling was a bit of a challenge.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
