Plan for hurricane-force winds and storms in the afternoons/evenings. Boat in the morning. Beautiful area close to an entrance to Rocky Mtn National Park. We hiked the short trail to Adam Falls, paddleboarded, and saw a fisherman pull a good 20 inch fish from the lake.

We had a great time, but when it was time to leave, we went to the dump station and was very disappointed that we were not able to rinse out our black tank because there wasn't any running water there or a trash can. Im not sure way this isn't provided?

Camp hosts were great and I was so glad to find handsoap in most bathrooms this year. Only complaint is that there was a campsite playing loud music past quiet hours - was hoping the hosts would address it but Im not sure they did.

Exactly as pictured and described, with a front door lake view. Good sized, level tent pad. Be aware, this site has no shade, which is what is said in the description. That was not a problem, since we weren't there during the day. Convenient restroom with showers open 24/7. Very good Verizon cell service. Very easy access to RMNP. Would definitely stay here again.

The trees are back! We had a site with plenty of trees to block the neighbors. The views we had on our walks were fantastic.

The site is amazing and very fun! There was very rough weather, including wind, that almost destroyed our tent. Overall, it was beautiful and wonderful. We will definitely come back!

Very handy for Rocky Mountain National Park. Sites are small. Narrow and in length. We dont spend much time in campgrounds. We enjoy seeing the local sights so we delt with size of sites. Worked well for us.

We have been going to this campground for a long time. I choose this campground for for many reasons but most of all its for the bathroom/showers ( wife likes plumbing ). Its in a great location to explore Grand lake, hiking, views and downtown Grandby. Site 005 on B-loop is a great little spot that offers seclusion with the trees that surround that site. My only issue with this particular site is the highway noise. I can deal with the marina traffic. The views on the south side of the campground are better, but it gets really packed and there are less trees to seclude you from the other campers.

Bathrooms are really nice, spot was right next to the lake. The only downside was that there was no trees around for shade.

I love Stillwater. It's one of my favorite places to camp and stay. For two years in a row, we've made reservations to camp during the full moon. The beauty of the moon rising over Lake Gramby has been spectacular. We love the fact that kayaking is very simple on the lake. You have access to nice showers. The sites are well-kept, and the camp hosts are very nice. I really enjoy this camground.

I had a reservation for two days (enjoyable), then hoped to find a FF spot for another two days. I identified a site on reservation.gov that was open for the days I wanted, so I was waiting for the camper who had the site to check out so that I could check in. A camp host named Lu Ann didnt like where I was waiting and lied to me, saying the site was reserved. I moved as she asked, then later took the site after it was vacated. Later she hassled me again, but sure enough nobody came for the site. Despite her rudeness, I enjoyed everything else about my stay.

Near to the bathroom. A walking distance to the FREE shower facility. A view of a beautiful sunrise over looking the lake.

Love this campground! It is very well managed and always clean! The only downside is that the sites are not very private but thats not why you come here, its for the view!

Stillwater campground is a beautiful place. The B01, B02, B03... should be avoided for families with small children. The road in front of the campground is the primary access to the marina. Trucks with large boats drive fast along the campsites. It is unsafe for kids. Apart from that, the lake is gorgeous with a small beach. We hope to go back on the sites further away from the marina access.

We had a good time camping here. But some of the things that we didn't like are- The spaces are very small and we could hardly fit our car and trailer in the space for it. We didn't care for the grumpy camp host, even though they did keep the restrooms clean. There is no beach area accessible for us to play at. At the entrance of the campground is a PAY HERE kiosk, so we stopped and paid for 3 days as a "daily pass", but then later the next day, the camp host came and told us that we needed to pay for the 2nd car in our spot. We told them that we both had already paid for the daily pass for our cars. Both of us had. She then told us that we didn't need to pay that pass, that it was for boats (obviously not very clear) So that we frustrating that we had both paid for that daily pass that we didn't need to do. We didn't have a boat. So warning to all campers that the pass is if you have a boat only. not for your car.

Nice site, close to toilets and not too far to trash dump. Only issue was ants on the table preventing kids from sitting there.Also difficult to back in 20 foot trailer

Frankly, I would probably not give the large majority of these sites a second look as a tent camper. But, by reserving early, I got a great location literally on the shore of the lake that was awesome.A nice touch: When you reserve a site, the staff has it marked with your name when you arrive...since the entrance station is pretty much unstaffed.One downer while I was there was that one set of showers was closed, leaving only one for the entire campgrounds.The facility's location is great as a jumping off point for the west side of the Indian Peaks (the long day hike to Crater Lake and back is one of the most memorable of my life)...plus of course the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. MAKE SURE you make reservations for a timed park-entrance pass as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

I am sorry to offer a poor review this is a beautiful area but we picked a site on a hill and it was too windy to set up a tent. We had to leave to rent a cabin and basically paid double. The sites on a hill are pretty but not practical.
@KarenD6822172 · Camped on Jul 1, 2025 at Campsite #B6
Our campsite was quite nice and provided some shade as trees surrounded it. Camp hosts were great! The bathrooms are not primitive (bonus) - but youll need to bring soap!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
