The walk in the areas are very close to one another, some have zero shade and we cooked! (#13) The signage on the sites is very confusing, concerning whether or not its available, and often conflicts with what the website says. The reservation signs are not updated timely and I went to 3 different campgrounds looking for a host with no luck.

We stayed at Campsite 9. Sites 8, 9, and 10 are further from the river compared to the other sites, but you can still hear the water! The whole campground and Bathroom was clean and well maintained. The water access was beautiful. We cant wait to come back.

Great trout fishing. Some really technical fishing and some easy spots too. I was worried about road noise but it was not a problem at all besides a few semis a day using their air brakes. The site was hard rock but clean. The fire pit and table were all we needed.

Great area next to the creek

The reservation name placard wasn't clear. There was a lot of un-burned trash in the fire pits (we saw our friend's fire pit too). The bear box had an empty pizza box in it along with other trash. The bathroom wasn't clean either. Overall this campground is not being properly maintained. We saw the host for the first time 2 days into our trip and all they were doing was adjusting info on the reservation placards. It only has 7 sites so everything is visible.

Good clean spot. The river had a little sand bar perfect to swim in. However the toilets were very rank. Other than that we had a great time.

#1 spot has some decent shading. Restrooms were clean. Not sure about nature and all the horse flies and mosquitos, I couldnt put enough stuff on to keep them from biting me. Dogs were annoyed at them to. Awesome to have bear containers for food & trash. As I had an experience with a bear on the Poudre before it was at the Rustic Cabins he got into the back of my truck and opened and ate all my food!!!

The land here was beautiful, and the sound of the river so relaxing. I also like when they have the bear proof lockers for food. The only downside is walking to and from site to unpack and pack.

Nice campsite down by the river and far enough away from the road to not hear the cars coming up the canyon. Well spaced sites, but not much shade so you need to bring your own. Clean pit toilets and well maintained facilities.

Narrows is a desirable campground. "Reserved" signs were in place for 2-3 nights and noone was camped. Based on my understanding of the rules, the camper has 24 hours to occupy the site or forfeit the reservation. This is reasonable; however, it appears the camp hosts do not flip the sign to "Open" after the 24 hour no show (ie after 2pm the next day). Camping is a great experience and getting a reservation is (as you know) challenging. So many people/families are denied the opportunity needlessly .....ie this situation is avoidable by training the hosts to implement/enforce the reservation 24 hour (2pm-2pm) rule.

Campsites were clean. Vault toilet was well maintained. Trails in the area were not overgrown and simple to traverse

Would have been an amazing trip except for 2 things that were not in our control. First.. we had a lot of biting flies at our site!! Citronella and bug spray didnt seem to help. Second. There was a large group that took up 1 site with a trailer and 4 tents that were running their generator and yelling until after midnight.

I checked into my campsite after 5:00pm. When I check on the campfire ring, it was not only full of ashes, but there was still live/hot coals in the campfire ring. There was not a campground host in the campground nor did I see one drive by while I was there. I wish the company who is managing the campground took forest fires seriously. Perhaps they are more focused on profit.

We were able to experience this year's high water mark from the vantage of our site. The river was mesmerizing and the sound wonderful! Great site, small pathway to the creek and along its banks. Very clean restrooms. Great time of year to visit, had the whole campground to ourselves on the last day!! Great starting point to visit Rustic, Cameron Pass and Red Feather Lakes area.

Clean easy access campsite next to a beautiful river. Campsites are spread out enough to provide a little privacy.

Nice campground. We have stayed here before. The sounds of the river help drowned out all other noises and makes sleeping very pleasant.

I love this campground. Been there about four times now. So glad the Cameron Peak fire missed it! There's plenty of shade and the campsites are so close to the river. The parking is convenient and there are several nature trails and hikes nearby. The water pump wasn't working so we got water from Upper Narrows but it was a bit rusty so we drove over to Mountain Park for water. The stars are amazing at night and it is peaceful and quiet except for the natural sound of the flowing river. The hosts kept the bathrooms clean and stocked. Didn't see too much wildlife but there were a lot of bugs at night (summer nights). Will definitely go back.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
