Clean and convenient!

The six hosts at Hoyer are super friendly (well, except the guy we like to call Mr. Personality), keep the place clean, and manage the park very well. There were some loud groups over the Labor Day weekend in the Bear loop, that partied late and werent managed but disturbed everyone around them. Two of us moved to other sites, two others left entirely.

Nice & quiet during the week. Hosts were friendly & proactive. Reserved a shady site before I knew I was going to have to put out my solar panels but I was able to chase enough sun to keep things running. Clean toilets; didnt use the showers but friends said they were good. Didnt see the bear (probably a good thing). Definitely camping here again!

Site 047 is near the back of Beaver Loop toward the back of the campground. The spaces are reasonably spaced and the campground has lots of trees/shade. Its nice that there are showers, which is not that common for forest service campgrounds, although I was there only one night and did not use the showers or dump station. There are no hookups so I assume the showers are the reason for the slightly higher price than most FS campgrounds. There are pit toilets throughout the campground and they were pleasantly clean. My only reason for taking off one star is that my Campervan was attacked by a bear in the middle of the night. They did warn upon entry that there had been bear activity in the campground, but it was unexpected for one to be aggressive enough to attack my van. All my food was stored inside my van, inside closed containers or fridge. Luckily he came to my back doors where I have a spare tire mounted on one door and a ladder on the other door so he was not able to do too much damage, except a few scratches and I was able to scare him off using my car alarm. The location of the CG is great, just outside Greer in the White Mountains with easy access into the campground and into the site. I would stay here again, but I would book a site that is not so isolated from the main activity to reduce the threat of bear activity. I know Black Bears are not supposed be aggressive, but the sound of those paws and claws shaking and tearing at my van was horrifying.

Nice spot with some shade. Clean showers and bathrooms - the shower water wasnt hot enough for me but it was warm- and I was delighted to be clean. Quiet and patrolled. Great experience - lots of things to do nearby.

Camp hosts Pat& Kimberly, were very nice, they have this campsite all squared away, spotless,quiet at nite. Very pleasant, there is ice,firewood,showers.I will say the signal is sketchy at best, some sites none at all.

We had a very good time at Hoyer. My only complaint would be the ATVs running around kicking up dust. Other than that it was very relaxing. But I didnt care for the camping trailer pads. Some had steep drop offs and angled hills to walk down. Very cramped to put a table and chairs on.

Hoyer campground is beautiful. The hosts keep it very clean. They are friendly and very helpful. Close enough to Greer to go get lunch. Plenty of shade and the showers were clean with plenty of hot water.

This was our first time at Hoyer and this campground is a gem! Large, wooded spaces with lots of shade and privacy. The staff is friendly and helpful, keeping campers informed when there was a wondering bear in the campground. All campsites are clean and the restrooms are spotless. We will definitely be back!

Even though this was our first time camping as a family with a toddler, we had an easy time navigating this campsite. Everyone who worked there was super kind and helpful! We had a Tesla and we were able to charge in the front when our charge was super low. My brothers car battery wouldnt start, and they also helped us jump start it! The bathrooms were very clean and easy to get to and the showers had nice, hot water. Getting to the lake was also very easy. Its just right across the main road. Would recommend! Super sweet hosts!

My favorite FS campground in AZ! Clean, beautiful, well managed and cool in the summer.

As always, Hoyer was a pleasure to stay at. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are kept clean, and the showers are a great benefit. I've been coming to Hoyer for 40+ years. It never disappoints.

Short drive into Greer, for groceries and fuel, about 25 minutes to Eager/Springerville.

The campground is clean, pretty quiet, and we really enjoyed our time there. I was recovering from shoulder surgery and the camp hosts were super nice and let me keep frozen water bottles in their personal freezer, so that I didn't have to constantly buy ice to keep my ice machine cold for my shoulder. This is one of our favorite places.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
