Canyon Point Campground is located in the Black Mesa Ranger District, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests (2 hrs 18 min northeast of Scottsdale, AZ) with an elevation of 7,687 feet. There are a total of 102 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to mid October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 45 and 99 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. 32 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $34.00 to $245.00. Some amenities include shower, sewer hookup, restroom, flush toilets. Activities include hiking trails.

Too many rules not being followed. Too many people in each spot. Some spots with 8 cars and 14 tents! Not to mention the loud radios and screaming... Trying to get away from it all but this weekend was awful. It felt like I was sharing my camp spot with strangers they were all so close...

Very beautiful slice of the forest. Clean, well maintained, and super easy check in. Excellent cell service and decent data. And with my golden age passport the cost can't be beaten.

Host are always willing to help with what ever you're need. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean, camp site clean. Dump Station and water are a plus. Spacious sites. Just love it here.

The experience was good as usual. Great campground, hosts and facilities. We self-evacuated 3 days early due to a nearby fire. Im not sure if a credit could be issued or by whom, but it would make sense to do.

I was impressed how well the staff cleaned the bathrooms even when some of the guest left them in a mess. This was the first time I had been in a "set" evaculation statis. A ranger initially gave us notice of the statis and about 10 minutes later a couple of campground hosts came by to make sure we knew what that ment and give us advise on how to prepare. GOOD JOB

Being at Canyon Point is a fantastic camping experience. The spaces are large, the facilities are clean and well maintained and the area between the individual sites is extremely generous. We are going again!

We have been waiting for quite a while for the space we had for 10 days. It was quiet, peaceful and lovely. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed visiting the Rim and some of the nearby lakes.

The camp hosts were awesome. They did their job without being visible all the time. They handled issues when needed. We have been coming to this campground for over 35 years and they were the best.

Beautiful campground, with very nice hosts. Restrooms and campsites were clean and easily accessible. Given the continued dry conditions and number of current wildfires, I was surprised that there were no campfire restrictions. It really should be propane only. All in all a wonderful experience.

We love to camp at Canyon Point campground! It is so neat and clean plus has RV spots far apart. You dont feel like you are on top of your neighbors. We love to kayak at Willow Springs lake, too - so the campground is super close to I highly recommend it to everyone!

We love this campground. It is beautiful, feels safe, has friendly camp hosts, and clean vault and flush toilets and showers. It could use some work on its roads and site pads, but imagine a lack of adequate funding is the problem.
