Such a great place. Took our oldest daughter (5 years old) on her first camping trip up here. Very well kept and such nice people around. Lots of things to see and go do all in close range. And major stores in Payson are only about 30 minutes away. Perfect spot.

The road in really needs work, but the campground itself was well maintained. We were the only large rig during our stay -- 30-foot travel trailer -- but we encountered no issues due to size. The camp host was very helpful and cordial.

Beautiful campground - so much space! It really feels like dispersed camping with the ample space between campsites. Regarding cell phone service - my AT&T phone had full services throughout (2 bar average), my car's hot spot worked easily when used. My work phone (T-Mobile) did show as CellOne while at the campsite, but had full service (not needed).

Great campsite. Tall tree cover and situated tucked back from the road. Clean bathrooms and upkeep of grounds. Potable water at entrance. Dumpsters free to paid campers. Fire ring and picnic table available at each site. Bring firewood in. Great experience! I'll be back.

Great location, on the smaller side which was great. Host is very friendly and helpful. Location is a bit close to the road so be mindful of that if thats something that could bother you. Traffic wasnt that bad in my opinion but something to note. Will come back again!

We love this campground! The spacing between the camp sites is great. Has the feel of dispersed camping but within a campground with a vault toilet. No amenities but purely great viewing of the stars with only our campfire for light and the forest feel is wonderful. Loved laying in my hammock with my book and a pillow. Only stayed for two nights but it was a nice recharge for the week ahead. It is our second year of coming here and we look forward to next year. We are tenters so it got a little too cold for me at night in mid September but just means more blankets next time, because the daytime temps are perfect!

The host was great, the bathrooms were clean, site was well maintained with plenty of shade. Mountain water available for drinking and dumpsters for use. This is our 4th time here and we will be back!

Small campsite with decent sized spots. Water available from the entrance by the host area. Bathrooms were pit toilets but good to have. The main drawback was not the camp's fault, but it definitely was a negative. Close to the road where off-road vehicles joy ride back and forth, rudely kicking up dust and causing noise in an otherwise pristine setting.

The site was clean, fairly well spaced out from the neighbors, the host was super friendly, and the bathrooms were the cleanest and best smelling I have ever encountered at a campsite!

We loved this place!! It was rustic and beautifully natural! There was a vault toilet but no running water or electricitygreat get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. It was very quiet except for wildlife..oh and the camp hosts generator. We will definitely be returning.

I picked the perfect time to camp, as there weren't that many people around. The lake was majestic and the campsite #13 was perfect for me as I was solo Camping. Camp host did a really good job in checking in to see that everything was going well. Overall- I'll def be coming back!

We felt clean and safe, and the camp host was amazing! The only thing was that there were a lot of free-range campers in the surrounding areas that had off-leash dogs that were not very friendly - These campers though were not on the campsite just the areas surrounding.

Nice views. Can be rocky if your tent camping. Bathroom was clean. Our host was a rude. We did have a lot of skunks visit.

Camp host was great! Patrolled the area multiple times to make sure we were comfortable and to ask if we needed anything. The bathrooms sparkled. This camp site is one of the cleanest and well maintained on the rim. Thank you!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and love it. We stayed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. All the weekenders had left and it was like we had the place to ourselves. As usual, the camp was neat and clean. We had never met this camp host before. He was so nice. He was always available for any questions we had and would periodically check in with us to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be going back again

The site was beautiful with plenty of trees. Having water and containers for trash on site was a big plus. plenty of space in the spots. The only bad thing was the person in charge of the camp that repeatedly inserted himself into our experience by warning us throughout the day of camp rules and complaining about other campers. He shared with me way too much info about experiences with other campers while I was in line at bathroom. I believe he took my respectfulness and quietness as either permission or a chance to intimidate. Is the camp nice. Most assuredly! Will I go there again. Most likely not.

Bob (camp host) was very friendly, attending, helpful and a really nice person to have a conversation with, which is a rare to find all in one together! The bathrooms were pristine (along with the campgrounds) and the camping areas were placed distant enough to give the campers privacy. Overall it was a great experience and were already planning to go back!

Great spot, we had a 24 Toyhauler it was tight getting in there, especially since they didnt really use the loop system for some of the roads.

This is a nice, small out of the way campground up on the Rim. Amenities were sparse, but that's the way I like it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars were some road noise from a forest service road adjacent to the campground (and at all hours, too?) and noise from someone shooting in the area.The hike down Hangman's Trail is worth it and the story interesting.Most of all, the campground hosts Chick and Wendy were just awesome. They really made this a great visit for me.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado
