Great campground. Very clean. The flush toilets and water bottle refill stations were a huge plus. We were in Group Site E004...great campsite! Easy 10 minute walk from here to the visitor center. We would definitly stay here again!

The Watchman campground is one of only 3 campgrounds in Zion, and it is fantastic. No showers, but you can find showers nearby in Springdale at Zion Outfitters. One of the perks to staying at Watchman is if you stay during busy weekends (ie. Labor Day weekend) and the park closes, you can still get in with a reservation at Watchman. Highly recommended.

Great location and beautiful campsite. It was huge and we loved it! The bathrooms are so clean and nice. There's also more than enough bathrooms to choose from. The campsite was wonderful!

Beautiful campground !!!

Loved the location of this campground and its facilities. The only negative I would add is that, although your reservation says that you can put up hammocks, you can only do so when it is not over any vegetation. Not kidding. We had to figure out a way to string our hammocks from the metal Ramada or from two trees, that spanned a walking path.

This site was just excellent for our large group! Beautiful site in a well-designed campground in the most beautiful place I know. I can't wait to come back!

The Staff was friendly and very helpful. The Shuttle Buses though looked very busy and had a few long lines. It ran very smoothly and there was not an aggravating long wait in those lines.Just pack a little patience with you especially if you choose to visit during Spring Break.Instead of waiting for the first Shuttle if you are already inside the Park. Try taking the nice Hiking along the River up to the first drop off point, enjoy the exercise and pick up the Shuttle there as people get off.

No showers in the park. You have to go outside the park and use private shower facility. We where in a group campsite, which meant that we had more than one vehicle. The gate person would not let anyone any until the person with the reservation and divers license what at the gate, even though all the drivers had copies of the reservation.

Note that only the primary reservation holder may initiate group site check-in for the entire group. Even if your guests have your information, the camp ranger will not allow you to occupy the group site. This caused a problem for 15 people in our group as I was on an all day canyon adventure and was not available at time of check-in or until early evening. My guests were denied entry and forced to prepare dinner in the visitor center parking lot before repacking and moving over to the group site after an afternoon deluge of rain. This was a change in 2021 by the park and was not communicated in the reservation nor online. Be sure the primary person is the first to check-in otherwise you will be denied entry to your group site.

We are very experienced hikers and went in October and thought it would be warm enough to hike the NARROWS without renting the pants. Thankfully we were forewarned and rented them. Thats my tip.
