The setting is beautiful. The campsite was very nice, as was the bathroom. So close to the Visitor Center and shuttle. Highly recommend!

Keep it light or bring rolling wheels for walk in campsites. Great experience being able to walk to the city and park buses. Showers, groceries and restaurant are a walk or bike ride away just across the pedestrian bridge.

First, I will say it was HOT! Thank gosh for the shade structures! I wasn't very excited about a walk-in site, but it was the only option at the time of booking. Well worth it! The walk to my site wasn't long and the paths were well made, great tent pads, nice bathrooms. Never seen so much nature when I've camped tons of times before! Definitely a treat! This was very close to the visitor center, so lots of hustle and bustle throughout the day but not terrible. Nice and quiet at night.

Watchman campground is in a really great position. Walking distance from the visitor center and shuttle buses to the park.We stayed in the F loop where most of the spots do not have a fire pit. However there is a communal fire pit to use. Adding a grill to the communal fire pit would be great, so we could cook our own food too.Other than that, all the services and amenities are really good!We had a wonderful time

We loved our stay at Watchman campground. The views were beautiful, the bathroom was clean, and we even had some mule deer walk by right when we were eating dinner. If you camp here, definitely make time for one of the nightly ranger-led programs! We went to one with Ranger Dan and it was very informative!

Loved the small walk-in tent campsites. This was perfect for what we needed for the night. We enjoyed the communal fire pits, it was great to chat with other travelers and share experiences and s'mores. I don't know if its a nightly occurrence, but the wind was SO BAD. I slept for maybe 1 hour that night due to gusts of wind all night. Maybe we just caught the beginning of a storm blowing in, but it was a rough night and wouldn't have made it through another night if the weather persisted.

The campsite was prefect! Beautiful and scenic. A perfect spot to relax and stargaze. The bathrooms were clean and close by. We had access to showers and the local bar. Everything we wanted to do was very walkable. Definitely used the bear box for all our food storage, which also was left clean. We had a hammock that we set up under the pergola which made for a perfect outdoor couch. The weather was absolutely perfect. Warm during the day and progressively got colder throughout the evening into the night. 10/10 would book again. We plan on making another trip maybe next year to tackle the narrows.

Excellent, calm and thorough explanation from staff, no hassle at all. Close to the visitor center and trail heads. Clean toilet area and well located and nicely organised camp site.

The Watchman Campground was perfect for exploring Zion. Would highly recommend a stay there if coming to the National Park. Easy walking distance to the restaurant / brewpub, grocery, outfitters, and the buses into the park.
