One of the most beautiful sites I've stayed at. Perfectly clean with close proximity to nature and great reviews. This park should stay open for the millions of people who enjoy it and public access instead of private property. The rangers and all site staff were essential to this amazing stay.

Site was wonderful because there is nobody behind you and it backs up to the mountains, however the noise was excessive. During our visit, a family with several kids played and screamed throughout the campground in various sites. We had to politely ask the kids to not walk through our site, on our tent pad, and near our jet boils for safety. The kids were quiet by 10 pm (quiet hours), but the parents were not. It really ruined the experience for us. I understand this park is very populated and will be louder than other, less crowded national parks, but I wish the camp host had addressed the noise. Bathrooms were very clean! Site had an awning over the table to help with sun. Great site, just unpleasant experience this time around.

I LOVED this campground. Bathrooms were nearby, campsites were clean and not too crowded, and best of all, we were surrounded by mountains

The campground is magnificent, sandwiched among the rising peaks of the entrance to Zion. A friendly family of deer came to visit when I awoke in the morning, obviously begging for food. The Watchman trail was spectacular, the tour buses convenient and the visitor center was a wealth of information. I am already planning my next trip to the natural beauty of Utah and especially to Zion and the Watchman Campground.

We camped in the tent loop and it was in the shadow of the Watchman mountain. It was a beautiful site, with wildlife walking right through! It was hot during the daytime but once the sun went down, past the mountains, it was a perfect temperature! We would camp here again. Also, the nightly ranger programs were great!

Beautiful campsite! The winds were a bit strong at these sites during the night, but otherwise gorgeous! Great facility.

I love this campground more and more every time I visit. I've stayed in RV sites with electricity as well as in walk-in tent spots over the years, and no spot is bad, no spot disappoints. This year's three night stay was a smattering of almost every type of weather, with the notable exception of snow, which brings its own challenges. I had rain, wind, and some chilly temperatures as the clouds cleared away. But in everything, I was comfy and warm in the large camping spot. With the included table (under a pergola that is surprisingly good at keeping a little rain off the table) and the food locker, it was just a really easy setup and teardown. And with the excellent fine-gravel tent spots, there are no weird lumps or bumps to contend with in the floor of the tent. Plus, the ubiquitous red dirt/dust was everywhere, so there's no doubt where I was staying or where I had been. Two last things - first, this year was a little less with the deer in the camp ground. Last year, a 4-point buck was sleeping next to my tent when I came back from a hike. This year, there were deer nearby, but they didn't seem to be as interested in the camp sites. I'm sure that while I was hiking, they were sitting in my camp chairs and enjoying a relaxing moment, but while I was there, I just didn't see them as much. The walking distance to the visitor center is barely anything, and each morning, it was a super short little walk to the tram line and I was on the trails quickly and easily.I love this campground and I'll be back again in February of next year!

Awesome hike in site, not too far from the parking lot and great views of The Watchman and sunsets.

Really nice campground hosts, very quiet campsite with great views of the mountains. We saw so many deer and baby deers, it was lovely.

The campground was lovely, but our visit to Zion was cut short because the day we arrived coincided with the shuttle system getting opened to the full public. This was frustrating and after going through all the trouble of reserving tickets online. I wish they had left the reservation system intact. We did not feel it was safe or enjoyable with the shuttles being over-packed with 118 degree temperatures, so we did not get to enter the main canyon.

Great place to camp whether its your first time or experienced camper, the restrooms are walking distance and the showers are about a 10 minute walk.
