The worst campsite. Super hard grind with rocks underneath. My stakes went in 1in max. By 2 footpaths, constant other campers on it, no privacy. Also right behind the loud 2 RV's of the camp hosts running AC. Not their fault but it's annoying to sleep in. Had the worst night because it was 95 degrees still at night, hot loud and no wind until 2am. Slept like 30 minutes max in and out. That's what I get for the leftovers spots.

Watchman was a clean and well maintained campground. Overall guests observed the 10 PM rule to keep noise down. Bathrooms were kept clean. Campers whove never visited before in warmer weather should know that it gets *very* windy at night: hot air from the day goes up and cooler air rushes down the canyon. Bring your ties and stakes because youre going to need them!

VERY nice campgrounds, well maintained, with a shady overhead, table, and bear box at each site. SO nice to be able to stay in the park and not have to worry about finding parking or making it out before dark :)

What a wonderful campground, right in the heart of the canyon. Very close to the washrooms (heated which was very nice!) and we loved using the common fire pit area to socialize and meet new people camping in the area. Keep in mind there are no hammock allowed but the table was sufficient for our needs. our favorite hike was the Watchman Trail, starting only 5mins from the campsite and had a great elevation. We went at sunset and it was incredible!!

Campground is right next to the visitor center inside the park. No need to go through the park entrance in the morning before boarding the shuttle. The walk-in sites were spaced out well, had shade structures, and would have been super close to a restroom if it hadn't been closed for renovations. The next nearest restroom was still only a 2-3 minute walk though. The sunrise and sunsets were beautiful from our site, but it did get a bit windy at night - definitely stake your tent down well. The little village right across the bridge is super convenient for rental gear, restaurants, groceries, and souvenirs. You can also catch the shuttle into Springdale from there, and there are public showers available at Zion Outfitters for a fee.

The campground's location is amazing within a walking distance to the visitor center and shuttle bus. The walk-in sites are all very pleasant. Our loop's restrooms were closed for maintenance during our stay which was a huge bummer.

Got lucky when I booked my walk in site. Had lots of room. Not too close to other sites and not too far from car park. With August temps reaching 97 degrees, I was thankful for a nice shade tree on the west edge of the site to block the afternoon sun.

Great camping site, clean bathrooms - couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

It was an amazing spot and had tables! Yes the little things make me happy. The campground has it own trash storage area and close to restrooms. Also, near by parking spaces with near by restaurants. It was 10/10 !

I was only able to obtain a walk-in site when I was booking in March for an April trip for two nights. I was worried that a walk-in site might involve a change in gradient, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a level, paved walkway to my designated campsite. The walking site had a picnic table and a pergola with allowed me to tie off my tent to protect against the strong winds. The well-groomed tent site had a hard clay service with small pebbles of clay on the top. The nice landscaping provided plenty of privacy from the other campsites but did not obscure the beautiful scenery. I had a designated parking spot and campground host was living nearby. This provided a great spot for walking to the Visitor Center and Shuttle Service. The love toilet and sink were nearby and had running water for washing hands and flushing toilets. They did not have showers, but gave locations in Springdale to go for pay showers. That would be a walking distance of about a mile but at the end of a long day of hiking I chose to drive to Zion Outfitters. But all the parking spots in town are pay parking spots of $25 per day at the location I picked. Luckily, Zion Outfitters had free two hour parking spots which I was able to use for my short visit. But that was late in the day, so don't expect to find those easily during the peak hours. AT your designated parking spot, you will see a colored slip of paper you put in your car window for obtaining access to the campground whenever a ranger occupies the booth. Once they see that parking slip, they just wave you on through. The walking sites have bear proof containers, but apparently, that is more for small critters that might try to invade your food stash. The rules for walkin sites state you cannot sleep in your vehicle. I think I would pick the walk-in site again without any worries.
