No shower, many people for very small restrooms, common firerings too close to tent campsites

This is a lovely campground right by the entrance to the national park and the trailhead for the Watchman trail (highly recommend catching a sunset from the top). We camped in a tent in the F loop. We enjoyed having a sunroof for the picnic table and a firepit, although we noted that not all pitches in our loop had these. The restrooms by our site were closed which meant quite a bit of a stroll but the ones that were open were very nice, clean and heated (which was appreciated in the chilly January).

Overall disappointing. I was bike touring so did not enter the park from the main road. Loop F is not listed on the maps posted around the campground nor on road signs in certain areas. Not a big deal but a bit time consuming to find. The bathroom that is easily accessible to those in the tent sites is completely closed down. There was trash laying around my site. Spot 007---I absolutely don't recommend because it faces the parking lot. I had the wonderful experience of a fellow camper leaving his truck running and the lights on for over an hour the next morning while I was breaking camp and making breakfast. It was wonderful to have the lights from his vehicle shining in my eyes and smelling the fumes. It's basically a busy campground and there will be noise and car beeps, and traffic etc. so be prepared. Zion is not what it used to be, especially since they introduced e-bikes. There are no pockets solitude to be found here anymore. If you want the NY/LA hustle and bustle with a view of some nice rocks, this is your place! On a positive, the campground location will allow you to access the shuttle and hikes very quickly and you can be the first in line for that e-bike!

Bien placé, navettes à côté du camping. Mais emplacements mélangés entre tentes et RV, donc par temps froids (4 degrés la nuit quand j’y était), attendez vous à entendre les chauffages des RV se mettre en route…. Difficile de dormir de fait.

We were in site F07 in Watchman Campground. It was perfectly located next to the parking area, the bathroom, visitor center and the bridge into Springdale. The bathrooms were kept clean. There's a sink for getting drinking water and washing dishes. Mountains surround the site so we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset. The site has a firepit with a grill on top for cooking food. Our neighbors did not have a fire pit, but there is a communal firepit as well (no grill on it though). We were there in May so it was cool, but direct sun will make the site hot in the warmer months. It is obvious that someone cares for the foliage in the F loop, it looks really nice. Clearly marked paths lead you to the visitor center where you can hop on the shuttle. There is also quick access to the Pa'rus trail and the Watchman trail.

Clean, beautiful, convenient to catch shuttle to narrows hike. Campfire not allowed but understandable given fire risk.

Campground was beautiful, clean and surprisingly easy to access, considering it was a “walk to” site. The parking spots are really close by!

We absolutely loved camping at The Watchman Campground! Luckily our site had its own fire pit, but there are community fire pits throughout the campground as well. The facilities were nice and it is very close to the visitor center and bus stop. You can also easily walk out of the park to the town where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Make sure to buy a shuttle ticket the day prior if you plan to hike any of the popular trails inside the park. Highly recommend Zion and camping inside the park if you can!
