It is such a privilege to be able to stay inside the park, especially with so much construction being done on the South Campground. The site was more than ample. It's wonderful to be only with tent-campers because it is much quieter. We had easy access to water, bathrooms and the dish washing station.

Lovely spacious campsites with easy paths. We were considered walk in but it was paved and easy to get too - with a welcome element of privacy. Great shade structures.

Ive stayed in other walk in sites in this campground and really liked this one as it was arranged. The shade over the picnic table was well placed, and it has its own fire ring. There is a colony of fire ants around the fire ring interestingly enough, and we thought it would be an issue but they seemed to not be bothered by us or our fire. Great views, as one might expect from this site! Bathrooms could use a bit more frequent attention.

All public restrooms in the campground were closed, unlike during previous stays at same time of year. Had to leave the campground and go to the Visitors Center to use the bathroom, despite advertising bathrooms in the campground.

Super quiet, super clean. Walk in sites were the last minute way to go and we loved out site. Great views, campfire pits and staff are great. I highly recommend staying close to the park if you're here to adventure and this campground is walking distance from just about everything you need (assuming shuttles are running).Don't hesitate on booking. That site you thought will be there tomorrow may not be :)

This site was beautiful. It was a short walk and due to the irrigated trees and shrubs. It was fairly secluded if your tent camping, you should be looking at these sites.

F03 was a wonderful site. However, this is a very busy campground so don’t exactly hope for peace and quiet. We had a group of 40 teens next to us split over four or five sites. They turned the site closest into ours into their kitchen with three giant propane stoves and a never ending clatter of Rubbermaid bins opening and closing. Once dinner was done came the throngs to eat. When I chatted with the campground host he said there was nothing that could be done, even though the rules clearly say six people max per site. Not quite sure how a group reservation was allowed to check in, but alas, we turned our backs and looked at the beautiful red rocks and popped in ear plugs. The stars were amazing. Just remember Zion is a zoo and if you keep that in mind, you’ll have the correct set of expectations before getting too frustrated with the throngs of people here.

Beautiful campground with views. Easy walking access to shuttles. I took a solar shower for tent camping. Not a problem for me but wish they would add showers. (Like most private campgrounds)

The walk-in campsites at Watchman are lovely, clean, and spaced well enough to provide either privacy or sociability with your neighbors, whichever you prefer. The shade structures are a bonus given how strong the sun is, but be aware that the shade they cast varies with time of day.
Come well provisioned, as everything in Springdale is expensive.

Zion is beautiful and Watchman is so, so convenient. It's close to trails, the visitor center where you catch the awesome shuttles, and Springdale if you need wood and ice. But because of this proximity, you also have traffic noise. It's not bad. It's just that you can hear it. And when I'm camping, I don't want to wake up to traffic noise. But the views can't be beat! And site F3 was perfect. Just 40 steps from the parking lot. Loved it! The camp host was also super helpful with a noisy neighbor.

Excellent facilities!!!! The best I've ever camped at
Great campground! Very clean, excellent location, quiet despite proximity to town/shuttles etc. We look forward to coming again soon.

Beautiful scenery, but there’s no shade at the campsites? Need to offer 100% shaded area in each camp site especially in the desert, so people have a place to cool off. Rangers were also a little rude. Would stay here again tho

Clean campground. Bring shade if you have it. Water only at the bathroom so bring a container. No showers or hot water available. Make sure you get your shuttle tickets prior to arriving at the park.
Great location close to the shuttle busses. Nice to have a place to land at the mouth of the park. The facilities were excellent.
