Great campsites, not one is in a poor location. Get shuttle information as soon as you get there. Download any maps that you want as there is no internet. Get the park provided maps and shuttle maps/stops.

El lugar estaba muy bonito. Pudimos ver las estrellas en la noche. Estaba algo caliente pero tranquilo. Haba baos cerca.

Beautiful campsite with useful amenities very close by. Easy walk to the river and it was fun to see deer while in the campsite.

The park Rangers were helpful. We went at the end of the season and it was not overly crowded.

I really appreciated that there was a food locker provided. Even though the walk to the car wasn't that far, it was thoughtful and helpful!

Watchman campground is situated in a beautiful spot very close to the south entrance of the park. The walk-in campsites are all very convenient, close to parking and restroom facilities. The only downside is that you end up breathing a lot of campfire smoke if the air is still--this isn't an issue specific to this campground, it's ubiquitous in campgrounds nationwide. Everyone thinks they need to build a fire and as a result the entire campground turns into a giant chimney.

Good campgrounds, bathrooms & water very close by. Short walk to visitors center and also restaurants/showers (out of the park but super short walk). The only downside of the site were the deers! We are very good about putting away any food unless we are cooking/eating, but the deers here are not scared of anything. Both our neighbors had their food taken at some point!

Great camping spot. Easy access to shuttle and hikes. We had shaded area with deer walking by. Highly recommend!

Wonderful time in the year to visit the Zion Canyon. The changing fall colors added to the beauty of the park. The NPS efforts to preserve the natural wonder of this place is commendable. although it is extremely difficult to reserve a watchman campsite, and the Visitor Center parking can be non-existent (especially on the weekend), Zion is worth experiencing in your lifetime. There is more to Zion than the Canyon's magnificent sights. Explore beyond the canyon to get the full sense of what this place offers to your soul.

Stayed in Campsite F002, tent only. This site felt very private as it is tucked back near the edge of the campground. F1 and F3 are close enough but bushes and trees create a nice sight barrier. Each camp site has a designated parking spot, in this case its about 25 steps from the campsite. The "some shade" is present basically all day except 11:30 to 1:30,so that was wonderful. Around 630 the tree will not block the sun, but it dips behind the cliffs by 730 (in august). A heads up to those uncomfortable with wildlife, since this site is close to the edge of the manicured campground, deer will often wander through. A mother deer and multiple fawns walked by our tent throughout the night and day. It is also a bit noisy at night with the wind due to the trees and brush around the site, nothing crazy if you are used to camping. Bathrooms and trash are close by, clean, and easy to locate. The potable water comes from a spigot or a tap, we did not boil it and had no problems. Bear boxes are present at each site and do a great job against the squirrels and deer. The rangers at the entrance are very helpful whether on foot or in the car. The shuttle station is about 7 minutes away and you have to take a route around the visitor center and through some parking lots. I would guess 1/4 to 1/2 mile, not too bad. We really enjoyed our time here

Campground is right next to the visitors center. Very convenient but very noisy. Many of the campers seem to be coming in/out with a one night stay, so there's lots of late night and early morning activity. Also, during the day you hear car alarms frequently from the large parking lot close to the campground. Next time I'd opt to stay in a hotel outside of the park because it's very hard to sleep in this campground!

The best part about Watchman is having access to the park without having to hassle for a parking spot.

Something to note is that this campground does not have shower facilities. The nearest shower facilities are available at Zion Outfitters.

We were 10 ft away from our neighbors and could hear every breath they took. Didn’t know we had to purchase the shuttle pass to get into the park either

What a beautiful park. We camped in F loop and couldn't complain, being used to hike-in backpacking the other campers were a bit close compared to what we were used to but overall our site felt private enough and had a convenient and clean bathroom/water station close by. My biggest complaint was that I wish there had been a suggestion (or warning) to buy shuttle tickets ahead of time. Being my first time to this park I did not realize that all of the best were only accessible by shuttle and that the tickets for said shuttle sell out at least a day in advance. I wish there had been an option to add these tickets to my purchase when I reserved the site. We missed out on the bigger hikes but still had fun doing the shorter ones closer to the park, next time we'll know!
